Hey guys, this is my first post here. Here is my issue. I went from being constipated to having a "fuzzy" bowel movement at least 2-3 times a day. My constipation was so bad that I went to the hospital and they told me to take a double dose of miralax and follow up with my gastroenterologist
I also had a pain on my left side and in my chest right below the center of my ribcage with terrible gas. I followed up with the gastroenterologist and he told me to start taking a probiotic. I started on Jan 29th and my bowels started looking like the pic and I still have a strange feeling in my chest area. I don't know if this is just the probiotics adjusting my gut or could it be something more serious.

Means u have to much bad bacteria in ur gut mayb coz tablets, antibiotics or u not eating healthy or just ur eating to much yeasty stuff ie bread.
U need to take probiotics. A tablet called “ Dida” and try to lay of sugar, bread and processed food for good 6 weeks. This is all i did and it worked...
Also i warn u now that there are some on here that will report u for that picture, i know people have before? For some reason people find a pic of poo offensive
Thanks for your input. Maybe I'll take the pic down. Just trying to get some answers but I understand. I'll look up the dida
Stop eating sugar, anything with too much yeast, try and eat a healthy diet. No alcohol. I am not sure if all probiotics are suitable for you, some may be more effective than others? They are not all the same. You should research that point. Probiotics do take a little while to kick in, and sometimes they can cause some disrution to your gut to begin with.
Thanks for your input. My Dr first prescribed a probiotic called VSL 3 but l couldn't afford it so he told me to get align or cuturelle or one of the less expensive brands. I'm gonna look more into it and definitely try to cut the sugar
I tried vsl #3 for a month and it made my symptoms of bloating, gas etc worse. I later found out i have sibo and that probiotics should be avoided until the sibo has been resolved. They can work for some but for most sibo sufferers it loads more bacteria onto a system where too much bacteria is the problem. Perhaps try for a month but if it has not helped by then you might want to ease off. Cutting out sugar has helped a bit
From the location of that pain below your ribs, I’d get checked for gallbladder problems.
Your symptoms may be IBS, but they all fit with the symptoms I had before discovering in 2015 that I had gallstones and having my gallbladder removed. (I’ve also had IBS for 40+ years)
Thanks I will look into that as well. The pain isn't there all the time but when it is there after I go to the bathroom I feel better. I think I need to go to Dr House lol
