Hello I have been having severe pain under my right rib, I have been to the hospital and even admited into the hospital for this.

All my blood work and ultrasounds and even a hydascan have came back normal. I also have been very sick to my stomach and diarreha the doctors say it may be my glabladder but they are not sure and i can not keep having this pain while going through test after test when it all comes back normal, any thoughts on this would be much helpful thank you

When I had gallbladder problems it took them a while to diagnose what exactly was wrong, but I was in hospital throughout because I had a very high temperature which indicated an infection. I was advised to eat a very low fat diet while I was waiting for an op - in fact they said no fat - apparently it's when the gall bladder secretes bile to digest fat that the stones hurt if you've got stones.

I think you also need to explain about how bad the pain is, GPs can prescribe better pain relief than you can get over the counter and they shouldn't leave you in pain.
