Has anyone found an effective pain killer, my doc put me on Amatriptaline - useless. I have been through most of the ones in the shops...

I have had IBS for almost 2 years and nothing took the pain away until I found Salofalk (Mesalazina) This calms the Intestine and also Butilhioscina that controls the spasms, now I am 90% pain free, look it up on the internet. Good Luck

This may help your search for effective pain relief. Salofalk (mesalazine) would need to be prescribed by your GP. Butilhioscina is available as Buscopan in the UK and is available over the counter. Good Luck
