had the results of my colonoscopy nothing nasty showed up. consultant has prescribed child strength Imodium said it wld calm the bowel anyone else had this

I have taken adult loperamide (same drug) for years, and it enables you to have a reasonably normal life. I started on one a day, and now are on three per day, but this isn't a problem as it is safe to take on a long term basis. Before I took this (now on prescription luckily) I was unable to go anywhere without worrying, so it gives you your life back. I wouldn't hesitate to take it - if it works for you at a child level, then that's great, but if you have to go to adult level go for it. Good luck
