i found this site by an advert saying join and you will receive a card like that , but once on site there's no mention of it. a few people have said same. but glad i found site anyway. trishy from Ireland
By being a member of ibs network. A card is then sent in the post. This has helped when in service stations, show your card, then a key is given for the toilet. A radar key. This opens disability toilets when there are massive ques in the everyday toilets. Also the radar key is what opens toilets that are locked. I know you can buy them online. I've contacted my council and you can buy them half the price through your local council office. Honestly the card from being a member and paying yearly price, has been great the card has been in great use. Being a member on here has been a massive help too
Just a side note that they don't 'have' to let you use their toilets though, regardless of whether you have the card. It's simply a way to encourage them to allow you without having to have a lengthy public conversation! Certainly in the UK, the majority of shops will still say no due to their health and safety policies.
