Zoladex

After speaking to GP, we decided to start zoladex to put me in temporary menopause to help with symptoms and hopefully stop cyst from getting worse until I am able to have a review at my endo clinic (hopefully things will be up and running again soon...).

Kindly guide me how long should i wait to conceive to get all zoladex out of my system amd start a family.

Erleada, Casodex, Xtandi, Zoladex, Lupron. All have failed and my PSA is still rising. It recently went above 4. I am doing chemo for 10 sessions every three weeks. I finished the third one a week ago. I have only one lesion in my 7th cervical vertebrae that was just discovered.

I had excision surgery years ago and was on Zoladex for 6 months but my endo returned and so far only diet changes and supplements have made a difference.

Kindly guide me how long should i wait to conceive to get all zoladex out of my system amd start a family.

I’m 3wks into Zoladex injection now, which has stopped my period. My only side effect is the heat flush. I’m worried my period may take too long to return or never does. Pls I need to know if I have to wait for my period before I resume the other injectable for the IVF.

Hi all I was due my repeat 3 monthly zoladex implant a couple of weeks ago.it was cancelled due to covid. I have no idea when they will be happy to see non essential patients again. Can anyone advise, on stopping zoladex, how long it's likely to be before I'm back in agony?!

Since my lap, every time I saw my gyne I would ask potential treatment options, and got thrown onto zoladex. During zoladex I kept asking next steps but every consultant would dodge "what is the next treatment option" or "what other treatment options are there".

Unfortunately I still have pain every day and really bad flare ups, I had zoladex for about a year when I was 20 but that didn’t help either. I had the marina coil inserted for 4 years and recently got it taken out in January 2020 as me and my partner are wanting to start a family.

Hi all, Further to my last post about Zoladex finishing July 2019 and not having a period since, I am still not having periods! I went to my docs, blood work all okay, no issues and also has some swabs done and examinations, US done at hospital.

Kindly guide me how long should i wait to conceive to get all zoladex out of my system amd start a family.

I don't even remember being this bad with my temperature changes when I was on Zoladex... Thanks in advance! xx

Is there possibility that taking Zoladex injections for more than 2 years could alter someone’s personality?

Today for the first time since my diagnosis, the dra sent me the Zoladex injection so that I could do it myself and not go to the hospital. Has anyone had injections at home ???? Please take good care 🎀

They have also offered Lupron every 3 months instead of Zoladex every month. Has anybody had Lupron before? Are side effects similar to Zoladex? Many thanks, Eva xx

I was recently having Zoladex (Prostrap) injections for 4 months whilst on a waiting list for a laparoscopy to remove my endo and potentially an ovary (2nd op).

Found 3 bone Mets in April so May 2019 went on Zoladex thinking it was better against Mets then Bicalutimide.

Letrozole 2.5mg, Palbociclib 100 and an injection of Zoladex. I also have an underactive thyroid. I'm not able to convert the synthetic hormone tablet Thyroxine that the NHS give people with my condition. Thyroxine didn't mix well with the forementioned drugs above.

I’ve had 2 Zoladex injections ( 6 in total) after my first Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy surgery but my period still comes. The gp told me I wouldn’t have period so I’m confused. I use to have very regular period( usually comes 2 days earlier than previous month).

I have been on Zoladex for 5 months now and my chest goes through cycles of feeling fine to being aggravated and I need to take my inhalers more that I normally would. I have read it can affect breathing, but just wondered it anyone else has found it an annoying side affect?
