Hi everyone, have been reading a lot of comments which is giving me my confidence back. I have not been able to get pregnant naturally, I’m 41 my 1st time trying. Have been on Clomid for 3mths no success. Went on 10days of Diclair HP 150I.U with 0.5ml Buserelin. Still my follicles were too small.
I’m 3wks into Zoladex injection now, which has stopped my period. My only side effect is the heat flush. I’m worried my period may take too long to return or never does.
Pls I need to know if I have to wait for my period before I resume the other injectable for the IVF. What do I do, if my period never returns?

Hello Rainbow567, definitely follow the instructions. These treatments are harmful to developing embryos and studies have found that residues are still in your body three months after you stop using them. (I was advised to wait four months before ttc).
Hey, they left me on Zoladex injections for eight months in the end and my periods returned within about two months they were regular, had the same feelings you did and the side effects can be a bit rough but didn't want to come off it by the end. Best of luck xx
My periods returned 1 week after my injection was due and I have been on zoladex for over 2 years! I heard it does take a couple months for it to fully leave your system to I would ask all of the possible questions you have to your healthcare professional if possible and the IVF clinic you are using if you have selected one. They are usually extremely knowledgeable and come across ladies with endo all the time. Best of luck!
