High Bp again
Hi everyone, I’m on
Zemtard
and candesartan and everything had been quite stable until recently. It was suddenly flagged up that my bp was too high after I’d been to a doctors appointment. I’m now waiting input from the doctors after doing a few days of bp readings at home.

I know I`m lucky in one way in that I don`t feel anything but after doing ok on
Zemtard
( diltiazem), my Cardio says maybe going onto flecainide in the future.

Afib breathlessness
Many kind people on here gave me good advice at that time and eventually I was put onto
Zemtard
Diltiazem by my Cardiologist.

Tildiem retard/diltiazem question
Hi, My cardiologist has taken me off bisoprolol and put me on tildiem retard due to me still getting angina pain on walking despite having two stents. I've also been referred for a stress echocardiogram on 24 April to see if I have another narrowing. He doesn't want to do an angiogram/CT unless absolutely

Afib has reared its ugly head again big time, for me.
As my bmp were in the region of 148 I thought I would just ring my new GP and explain the situation and see if I needed to up my medication, 180 of
Zemtard
as I was aware it was a low dose.

Type 2 Diabetes and Bisoprolol
My wife who is type 2 insulin diabetes who injects and tests twice daily has recently following a 24 hr heart monitoring investigation has had her
Zemtard
replaced with Bisoprolol. She has noticed a drop in her glucose readings when taking them since taking Bisoprolol.

Alternatives from Adalat Retard
My Grandma has been on Adalat retard 20mg for a very long time to manage her blood pressure. Since it’s been discontinued her doctors has been haphazard with finding her a new solution. She has symptoms with Nifedipress 20mg. Has anyone had a better transition from retard? If so which tablet?

Very informative discussion with cardiologist
The information that came out of this was as follows: I can’t take a higher dose of my present medication (
Zemtard
180) because my heart tends to go too slowly sometimes and occasionally pauses, unless I have a pacemaker.

Feel like a fraud!
Having seen the results of that, the cardiologist referred me for a CT Angiogram, put me on three meds: a Blood Thinner (clopidogrel), a statin and
Zemtard
(to lower blood pressure). Along with GTN tablets as needed.

Uncontrolled AF
I was put on Rivaoxaban which is an anticoagulant last year for AF along with
Zemtard
. I had a routine blood test recently and because my FBC is way out and I probably have a serious bleed somewhere I now have to have an urgent colonoscopy.
