I have come off bisoprolol the last 3 weeks, but was put on a different tablet called Tildiem retard 90 mg twice a day.I had bad stomach and bowel pains that I didn't have before.
I have Atrial fibrillation, very bad palpitations, and chest pain, these new tablets have improved my symptoms but not been on them very long, so I will wait and see.
I wanted to change tablets as the bisoprolol I think was causing constant mucus in my nose and throat since last November.
I'm hoping that the change will stop all this, have to wait and see.

waiting and seeing sounds like a plan, Shadesof! Your doctor’s group of surgeries probably employs one or more pharmacists so an appointment with one of them might be a good idea - they can pass their expertise to their GP who is of course a generalist. Unless these tablets were suggested by a cardiologist in which case your doc probably wouldn’t interfere
