Piqray/alpelesib. Oncologists. And various.
(Denocumab/
Xgeva
monthly) For any of you wondering how this regime is. For me it is going quite well but I must say, I have lost a lot of weight. (I could afford to) But. I was told as an afterthought to the stable news by my oncologist, that I have a “few fractures” in my vertabrae.

Lupron and Xgeva injection timing.
I am getting the
Xgeva
at my oncologist and they said they could do both on the same day and they would be 28 days apart because that is what
Xgeva
and one month Lupron are to be given at.

bone marrow
I had Mets only to left lung 4 in spine and with
xgeva
no new Mets. Does the scan yesterday mean the MBC is now in my bone marrow this seems scary to me. I’m 71 and was originally diagnosed in 2012 November. I see me oncologist on the 9th. Thanks for listening.

After getting a tie-breaker opinion I will go back on
Xgeva
after I've seen my dentist. I feel great except for what was probably a gallbladder attack a week ago.

Thank you all
After all my do diligence on PIQRAY my oncologist threw me a curve ball and decided to go with Verzenio faslodex and
xgeva
. Because i had higher % of Ers1 mutations then Pik3ca mutations. So this past thursday i received my first faslodex shots and
xgeva
shot.

Full circle with this disease
Start
Xgeva
and Xofigo 2023. PSA back at 105 November 2023. Start 10 rounds of Docetaxel and PSA starts dropping again. After first treatment PSA drops to 62 then 17 and then 5. Currently on 4th round and I am very happy that I am responding to Docetaxel again. I am planning on doing 10 treatments.

A New complication!
On Decapeptyl 6 monthly injections, and over the years,
Xgeva
, Xtandi and for the past couple of years, Erleada. Unfortunately, due to stomach surgery 2 years ago, where his vagus nerve was cut, he has now developed gastroporesis.

What do you think?
I’ve been on Lupron and
Xgeva
since 2014 and have had many other treatments along the way. As my PSA rose I found my best treatment was Xtandi. I had pretty good results from 2017 to 2020 , then my PSA moved upward again.

Trodelvy after one year update
Added
Xgeva
around this time for bones. In March 2021 we switched to Xeloda/Capcetabine oral chemo. Aside from the hand foot struggles, which were helped by lots of your input, it was fairly tolerable and worked for a year.

My husband developed necrosis of jaw due to
Xgeva
, had one surgery and molar removed. It came back and just had another surgery with 6 nights in hospital and the second surgery plus part of jaw removed. This was after original surgery and heavy antibiotics for 6 weeks.

panicking!
Over the years he has taken
Xgeva
, Xytiga and Erleada. All of these worked to keep his PSA undetectable. However each drug gave many side effects, that over time became intolerable. In last 2 years, my husband has had stomach problems, and has just been diagnosed with gastroporesis.

went off Xgeva for a year, have to go back on it. Ideas or tips helpful
I’m also having to go back on the
Xgeva
. I’m really discouraged and feel out of options but obviously saving my life comes first.

Lymparza not working
He is also on
xgeva
. He then went on zytiga for about 7 months before it started failing. He did get accepted in the luteciun trial at Penn on control arm. He did very well on Xtandi but was ended this past Aug when Penn saw progression but the trial folks did not so no cross over allowed.

Becoming mCRPC despite falling PSA
Since then, he still gets his 3month Lupron shot,
Xgeva
and daily Zytiga (2x500mg and 5mg Prednison). The PSA declined further in 2023 every time it got measured and is now around ~0.03. During the summer he had no pain and one could forget that he has this terminal illness.

Long Journey
I was placed on Lupron,
Xgeva
and Erleada (apalutamide). That worked for 5.5 years until we figured out Erleada was making me dizzy. Tried Zytiga, S/E were too much. My Dad passed 5/22. One month later had my first PSMA PET. Found out I had mets to my bones. I freaked out. Had Provenge.

They gave him his lupron and
xgeva
shot and refilled his xtandi, follow up mid july in 6 months. He said that dad has some tangential speech going on (subject jumping) but overall for almost 91 he's doing very well.

Still true that using same scan type is preferable to changing scan type?
He's been stable since chemo with his current Eligard &
Xgeva
treatment--see full Profile for his record of Lupron, radiation, Zytiga (failed), Docetaxel at year five, followed by lifelong Eligard and quarterly
