seems no one can help
He is on 3 monthly zoladex monthly

he takes the steroid they give him dexamethsone (I think it’s called) day before , day of and day after the chemo . They said it shouldn’t be the cause . They said they might put a stent in each kidney to leery the tubes open .?

What are the better treatments for metastasis of the bone and pelvic lymph nodes?
He is recommending no surgery but a multimodal therapy with androgen deprivation therapy, medication for the bony metastases (
Xgeva
) and oncolytic treatment. Did not recommend radiation at this time but not sure if that is the direction he is going.

radiation whack-a-mole?
In 2021 I had cyberknife radiation to new lesions in spinal vertebrae L3 and T9, which knocked the cancer back but also weakened the bone and led to compression fractures, to harden the bone I'm now also getting an
Xgeva
(bisphospehante) injection every 90 days, along with a ton of calcium every day.

advice for docetaxel
My doctor also recommends
Xgeva
shots to strengthen my bones. I know not. Everybody responds to docetaxel, but it appears that , about two out of three have a response and maybe one out of three have a good response.

Paying it forward for folks whose partner is undergoing treatment.
My husband is still chemically sensitive to Eligard and he takes Erleada daily plus
Xgeva
for bone protection. Anyone is welcome to PM me, especially if the diagnosis is new, the panic and waiting is indescribable. We'll probably learn from each other but mostly I wanted to say I am here for you.

Trying to decide my next step in my journey and was wondering what advice regarding treatment doctors?
He said it would consist of androgen deprivation therapy, medication for the bony metastases (
Xgeva
) and oncolytic treatment.

Xgeva and Pluvicto
I seem to recall that you shouldn't have an
Xgeva
shot just before starting Pluvicto. Thoughts? Thanks to all the great contributors on this site. I rely on you more than you know as I enter the last months of my existence.

XGEVA and ONJ
I finished 10 cycles of doxytaxel and got
XGEVA
several times. The last two it was discontinued because I reported minor oddities in my teeth. These have gotten a little worse. I will be seeing my dentist but not for about a month.

VIKTORIA-1 CLINICAL TRIAL
I’ve been on letrozole, Ibrance and
Xgeva
for a year and it appears it’s not doing its job any longer. I will know more after scans next week. If not, are you on a clinical trial?

On a previous post I said that I insisted on discontinuing
Xgeva
(afraid of the osteonecrosis of the jaw it can cause) injection once a month ( I actually only got the first injection) I got some negative feedback here for this.

e2 patch
well I finally got to meet with y Oncologist last week regarding use of estradiol (e2) patch to battle against osteoporosis / osteopenia because the 90 day
Xgeva
dosing (down from every 28 daysx 2 years) doesn't seem to be doing much.

I’ve been on
xgeva
for 2 years with no side effects. In a month I change to zometa. What can I expect. Has anyone else changed to zometa?
