xofigo update
I resumed
Xgeva
injections about 2 weeks ago. No noticeable side effects yet. I hope my experience on Xofigo so far is helpful to anyone contemplating starting it. So far, it seems a good choice for severe cancer pain from multiple bone metastasis.

Xofigo, Xgeva
Expect to resume
Xgeva
shots next month at the urging of my oncologist since my last scans showed the first evidence of mild vertabral compression. Hope this is helpful for those of you looking at going on Xofigo.

Looking for help
He is on Lupron and
Xgeva
and Zytiga w/prendisone. Last year he had Provenge treatment. He has pain all the time, but his PSA is 0.4. He likes his Medical Oncologist, but I thinks he should be seeing a Oncologist who specializes in Advanced Prostate Cancer. We live right out side of Boston.

Zytiga vs. Xtandi vs. Radium 223 vs. Cannabis
On Trelstar,
Xgeva
and Zytiga. Recent blood labs showed rising PSA. Next blood lab late July. If PSA continues to rise: New nuclear scans and an eye toward replacing my Zytiga therapy with Xtandi. As you can see from the following abstract, the differences are nominal.

New developments, Xofigo, Xgeva
Medical oncologist suggests starting
Xgeva
again. Currently still on Eligard injections every 6 months. Thinking I will start
Xgeva
again in view of first evidence of vertebral compression, despite all past bone density studies being normal and additional risks and side effects of
Xgeva
.

AFTER RADIATION--SUCCESS!
My PSA has even dropped from 5.57 to 4.20 I'll still have the fatigue and other side effects from Xtandi,
Xgeva
and Avodart, but they're insignificant, compared to how I've been feeling previously.

PSA moved upwards so I went through radiation treatments in early 2008 for 12 weeks, but found PSA started rising again, we waited and watched until it jumped from 9.3 to 14 in June 2014, I then started injections of Leupron every 3 months and
Xgeva
every month for 1 1/2 yrs, I now have both injections

I also remain on 120 mg Xtandi, a monthly injection of
Xgeva

Mrs. Tom-36
That same year he was prescribed Zytiga (250mg 4 tabs/day) with Prednisone with monthly injections of
Xgeva
. In CY 8 he first experienced pain , primarily in the sacrum region, and is being treated with Hydrocodon-acetaminophin, which gives relief from the pain.

I am on Tarceva and
Xgeva
injections. I did get an online quote of 1,700. I phoned Euro Tunnel insurance and they agreed to insure me and my husband and cover pre existing conditions for £46 for both of us for two weeks. These are the only medical related questions.
