Has anyone else had bleeding problems when switching from warfarin to xarelto? My INR’s have been all over the map and my Dr. decided to put me on xarelto when my INR came down to 2.2.

I changed from warfarin to xarelto in January and a couple of weeks ago I started random nosebleeds. Only a few, probably 4 too date, but 4 more than I have ever had in my life! I will contact GP on Tuesday, but thought would ask if anyone has any ideas? Thank you 😊

I was put on Xarelto in 2014 and so far I have been considered stable. I received my second dose of Pfizer on April 9th. For those that may benefit from this information on April 10th I woke up feeling fine, about 11am I felt unusually tired and started having some body aches.

i take my 20mg xarelto at night... well took it last night about 11 and then this morning i grabbed the wrong bottle and took another one about 7 ish... been on them since 2014 due to possible tia..... any thoughts on this.....

Re Nosebleeds/Xarelto. I spoke to my GP yesterday. We agreed to halve Bisoprolol to 1.25mg and I will also have a thyroid blood test. He said that’s the starting point. BUT I forgot to ask him about the nosebleeds 🤣🤣🤣😂

Can anyone please tell some side effects from taking Xarelto. Any strange pains on and off in head? Dizziness?

Any body on Xarelto have itchiness? Or dizziness . I have been on this for month. Just always seems like i feel weird

Any one on Xarelto wake up feeling dizzy. Or just have weird pains any where. Not bad pains like shard poking pain ? I have all kinds of feelings on these. Can any body tell me what they experiencing?

Also since I’ve been on the Xarelto since November I feel like I sometimes only get 9/10ths of a breath. Not shortness of breath but just a strange sensation and it is random. Anyone else?

Xarelto ....and when I stated to my new GP that I had taken before and it affected my joints ( pain ) he said never, it's a new drug and has only been out a year. I'm sure Rivaroxaban has been out for a fair few years ....can anyone confirm this or am I mistaken ? Many thanks Julian

Are there any new findings on the use of Xarelto in place of Warfarin?

Does anyone know if it’s ok to take magnesium glycinate while on Xarelto (rivaroxaben).

These are the only two meds I take (was 8mg warfarin, Now 20mg Xarelto and 2.5mg bisoprolol) .

His Drs switched him to Xarelto from Eliquis. After a year on Eliquis he started having bad side effects. He took the Xarelto for less than a week and his prostate swelled up. He had prostate problems the last few years but nothing really major other than having urinary frequency.

He has permanent Afib takes Xarelto & Metoprolol. She has stage 4 BC bedridden in pain. He takes care of her. Seeing urologist. PSA was 43, 2nd one 41. Had MRI. Biopsy 6 cores Gleason 7 4+3. Painful with bleeding from penis for 6 days.

For the first month after the cardioversion I was on Xarelto and Amiodarone .Two weeks ago the Amiodarone was replaced by Sotalol .I take 80 mg night and morning Since starting this drug I have been extremely tired ,I could sleep all day and all night .From doing all day walks I have gone down to finding

I'm also on Wellbutrin (300mg) for weight gain due to the medications (about 25 pounds in 2 years), Xarelto (20mg for Antiphospholipid syndrome), and vitamin D. My regiment is not great... I still suffer greatly, but if I miss any doses, I'm headed to the nut house.
