Any body on Xarelto have itchiness? Or dizziness . I have been on this for month. Just always seems like i feel weird

Funny you say itchiness as that is definitely something I get when I wake up in the night , my dose is 20mg

Is it all over? I am on Apixaban and it effects my legs mainly.

My head and back are the worst areas!

I have itching on the back of my head above the neck and behind ears but not the rest.

Wife also suffers from night itchiness and is on xarelto.

I started on Xarelto last July and was ok for about 4 months (ie until November). I then started with a rash which was especially bad on my back but also on my legs and chest. The rash was very itchy particularly in the evening and during the night. I eventually switched to Apixaban (Eliquis) on 29 December 20 and within 2-3 days there was a definite improvement. This has continued to improve and the itchiness is now only about 20 per cent of what it was at its peak and is now easily tolerable. I found that the occasional antihistamine can help with the itchiness.

Thyroid can cause itching, that's what I have. The dizziness can be due to an anti-arrhythmic you take for a-fib.

I've been on Xarelto for over 2 years now, never had any side effects or problems with it. However, my sister was changed from warfarin to xarelto and it made her so ill, she had to stop it within the first week. Different people react to similar drugs so differently.

Can y oh tell me what it did to her. It makes me feel so strange. weird pains in head . Dizzy just strange

My sister started feeling generally unwell, then she was vomiting, had a terrible headache, was shaking and unable to see properly. She couldn't eat without vomiting afterwards and she was dizzy, unsteady on her feet, she also developed tinitus whilst taking it. All these problems went away once she was established on warfarin again.They won't try her on any other drugs as she had such an extreme reaction to the xarelto. Warfarin has never given her any problems.

I'm on 20mg Xarelto. Need to say I also have Afib. My problem I suffer from hart failure. Both upper hart chambers are enlarged 1cm above normal norm. Think this was due to high blood pressure all my life. Currently it is in check normal blood pressure. Was on warfarin and internal bleeding under the skin happened to me. Warfarin was controlled. Prevent clots of forming in hart. The only itching I have is in the arm pits. Don't think this is due to using Xarelto. 🙂
