I've had a Pumonary Embolism and am looking for help and information
I was given 1 heprin shot and prescribed 30mg per day of
Xarelto
. Long-term effects and pulmonary hypretension were mentioned by the consultant. But little more information given. I am somewhat in shock, realising that I was in such a dangerous, life-threatening situation.

Will Kidney Diet Help CKD3 If Cause Is Medication?
I've had 2 CT scans with contrast dye and was on
Xarelto
(20mg) until June, and since I had terrible side effects, I was switched to Eliquis. My primary doc thinks the anticoagulant is causing my kidney to get "wobbly."

Coming off beta blockers
Or could it be that the beta blockers in some way countered the negative effects of the
xarelto
and now that I am not taking the beta blockers any more the effects of the
xarelto
have been unleashed? I think Magnesium is helping, but its still early days. Are there other supplements to consider?

Question on necessity of blood thinning medication in relation to Pernicious Anaemia, once solved.
I suggested to stop with the blood thinning medication (
Xarelto
). My physician said there is no statistical correlation between embolisms and pernicious anemy and said I should stay on the blood thinning medication.

Recently Diagnosed - Seeking Information
Any thoughts here on whether
Xarelto
had anything to do with this or whether someone with PA should be taking
Xarelto
? 4. Does my reaction to the B12 seem normal or potentially alarming? 5.

Xarelto effectiveness with Factor V, Protein S &C and AFIB
Does anyone know how well
Xarelto
works if you have this combination? The Coumadin clinic wants me to go to
Xarelto
but my Cardiologist says not enough is known about how well it works on the factors I have so I should stay on Coumadin/warfin.

All put back together again.
No bleeding probs with surgery and started back on
Xarelto
that evening and apart from a bit (well, actually a lot) of pain it all seems good. So, unlike Humpty Dumpty I was put back together and should be good to go in 5 weeks.

Medication interactions
I'm wondering about the interaction of
Xarelto
with Bicalutimide. Some time after I took Bicalutimide the first time (for 67 mos), I developed blood clots in my leg, hence the
Xarelto
. What are the dangers, if any, of taking these meds simultaneously?

Need a few screws in my hand.
I asked about stopping
Xarelto
(they are aware of APS) and he said they merely tourniquet the arm to make a bloodless field when they cut and insert screws. Has anyone else been as clumsy as me and fallen and broken wrist and hand? if so, was this the procedure used?

Has anyone had increasing JOINT pain since taking
Xarelto
/ Rivaraxoban ? GP won't comment and cardiologist wrote saying " I am no expert" on the side effects of this drug.

Happy to be alive
No a fib since march, cardiologist is reluctantly letting me quit flec and just take it as pip, staying on day
xarelto
and low dose metoprolol. 3 days ago, I was nearly run off the highway going 65 mph. My only choice was collision or hit the road shoulder.

Newbie looking to get my life back
I was kept for three more days to monitor new meds, sotalol and
xarelto
. This med keeps my heart rate generally 60-70, resting around 58-59 but boy am I dizzy. Dr doesn’t want to change it as it has been “working” for the Afib, I also have relapsing MS and severe allergies.

Heart Palpitations (skipped beats)
I take diltiazem and
xarelto
for a fib and also have a pacemaker. I have a call into my Cardiologist and hope he calls back soon. I have Flecainide tablets but have never used them for PIP and will wait for his instructions. Best wishes.

Advice PLEASE!
The inability to take Eliquis and
Xarelto
due to abdominal bleeding and weight loss coupled with my doctors inability to understand APS and the conditions associated with it has left me to deal with the APS, Narcolepsy with cataplexy, and SLE Lupus without any treatment at all.
