Adenomyosis
Do you always need a hysterectomy with Adenomyosis? I've just been diagnosed, also with suspected Endo, ovaries 'stuck' together and 6 ovarian cysts. Does it always progress to get much worse and possible endo cancer? I've had thyroid cancer and seen there is a link with Adenomyosis and thyroid cancer

Advice needed on thyroxine management
I am hoping someone can advise me about my thyroxine dose. Here's a little background: In September 2023, I was underweight and having trouble gaining weight and suffering from anxiety. I had been on 75mcg of levothyroxine daily for an underactive thyroid. I had recently developed pins and needles

Armour Thyroid for over 20 years
I have been taking Armour thyroid since 2000... Have had my current Dr for at least 20. When I had COVID last time (about 2 years ago .. very mild case) I noticed my TSH was up (over 3...very high for me and on Armour). Graves in couples
hi, I have recently been diagnosed with Graves (I’m 42) and my husband was diagnosed in 2008 (age 29) and relapsed in 2018 (currently in remission). I have discovered that George and Barbara Bush also both had Graves and although the cause was investigated, it was never found why both got it. Their dog

Advice before speaking to GP
Hi Everyone I am asking for advice before I speak to my GP. All advice gratefully received. I know when I posted my last results on here people said my high cholesterol was possibly due to my Thyroid levels. My TSH was 2.5 (range 0.27-4.2) which people here said was too high as I’m on Levothyroxine

TSH slowly creeping back up.
I’ve been here before (the forum) but lost all my logon details so I’ve re-registered. I’m hitting the usual brick wall with my GP, so I’ll try once more before I do something I’m unhappy about, but I’m getting desperate. Briefly, my TSH is slowly increasing. By which I mean that my most recent results

Association between different water iodine exposures & thyroid cancer: A retrospective study of high water iodine areas in China 2009-20
There are many differences between China and the UK. Including other aspects of water quality/analysis, diet, etc. For example, distribution of selenium in China is very complicated with adjacent areas sometimes have very different selenium intake. Therefore, we simply cannot pick up this paper and apply

Chris Kamara and Things Thyroid
I found this interesting as he supported the thyroid care petition, and before that I didn’t even realise that he also had a thyroid problem. I remember also wondering myself about Alzheimers the other year as I didn’t know what was happening to me. https://amp.theguardian.com/football/2023/nov/04

Ultrasound Results. What type of thyroid issue could this be?
Had an ultrasound on my neck after pain in lower neck and ear pain. Dr advised right side of thyroid is very inflamed and left side shriveled with one nodule and should have further blood tests. Heard nothing so chased after 4 weeks and have been given a telephone call with ENT. I've had two low thyroid

changing from Armour to levo
Hi all I take armour thyroid and have done for over 10 yrs now. I was originally prescribed this by a private doctor but further down the rd I found a way to buy Armour myself so I self medicate. I test my levels regularly (probably every 4-6 months) and I’ve felt in a good place for years. That’s
