Banging my head against a brick wall!
First, let me start by saying I've being reading post after post and this forum seems very well informed, helpful and respectful. My wife and I have been looking for answers to her health condition, which I believe, is Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism, for nearly 10 years! I've taken on the role of researching

improved blood work, am I a good converter or do I need support?
I’m still not out of the woods yet, but I’m happy to see some improvement. Here’s my latest results. The not so good news is d-dimer is still elevated but has come down, cholesterol is the same, but hasn’t got worse, my sex binding globe is still high, I’ve overdosed on vitamin D, and TPO has gone

Advice on labs, high RT3, high SBHG, low T
This is my first real post on this forum. I'd appreciate if experienced members could take a look at my labs and history and let me know what they think. I'm a 46-year-old male from Canada but living in France for the past 10 years. I've had deteriorating health issues for close to 5 years (likely longer

Hi all, I am new here but could really use some help. For months now I’ve been having a lot of symptoms, tired, achy bones and muscles, hair loss, terrible headaches and migraines every day. The list goes on. I finally went to the GP which ordered bloods. A long list of different bloods. One of which

Lactose intolerant
I am changing from Armour Thyroid to synthetic T4 and T3, due to cost and that a local Endo has agreed to this on the NHS. However I’m super sensitive to lactose and the hospital pharmacy are dithering about finding lactose free options. Does anyone know which brands are lactose free please?

Collected Responses to Give more funding for thyroid research and patients after price hike Petition
The petition launched by Pete Taylor has received a response, and there have now been numerous posts referencing that. And replies on each of them. This it is getting spread and some will be missed, there will be much repetition, etc. For that reason, this new post is intended to collect everything

It it normal for levels to change so much in two weeks? (TTC after loss)
TW: miscarriage Unfortunately had a miscarriage on 1st July. Since then I had a thyroid test at the GP and carried out my own at home finger prick test because I wanted to check out my antibodies and vitamin levels before TTC again. 13 July: TSH 1.35 (0.35-5.5) T4: 17.5 (10.5-21) Attached latest

TPO is 74. T4 13.9. TsH 0.74. I'm suffering hypo symptoms. Why won't they offer treatment?
Hi people, I'm new to this forum but am a member of the brain injury forum. I'm curious why no treatment is offered till your body has destroyed your thyriod? I've had awful symptoms that both reflect hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism since my injury in 2018 but predominantly hypo, once to the point

T3 when to take it
have been put on a T3 trial by a private doctor who specialises in thyroid conditions, just wondered what time of day morning and evening is best to take it, as have been told to take it twice a day. Been on thyroid medication for over 70 years. For a underactive thyroid. As members say the thyroid

Does having a goitre always mean you have a thyroid problem. Asking for someone else
Hi I don't and never have had a goitre so I can't use my experience to help. I'm working with someone who has developed a large goitre. She has pain in her neck, radiating to her ear, she has a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, gall bladder removed, type 2 diabetes amongst other things. She has been told her
