Thyroid Madness continued
Well, I won't be multi-dosing again unless it synthetic T3 and T4. I'm at the YMCA and I'm very unhappy with the shape of my body. I gained weight around my middle. I don't think my legs look this bad. Maybe I'm in denial. However,, I would like to add T3 to my NDT if I could. I don't believe I'm going

I had blood tests done with medichecks last week. They are as follows. I have been feeling reasonably well with almost no fatigue, just the odd day but getting less. I'm on 50mg of thyroxine. I did the test first thing and stuck by all the rules that are required for a proper result. I am gluten free

First time posting here with questions
Hello, I was wondering how to tell if you need b12 injections when you take oral b12 and your serum b12 always comes out looking great? I haven't had it tested recently but past tests always come out way over the range. Anyway, I saw a post by @Marz in which she said that she takes b12 due to having

Natural Thyroid Med in France
Hello. I see a few old threads regarding this topic, so I thought I'd get on to find if there have been any changes. I moved to France from USA 8 months ago, assuming it would be easy (why?) to find a naturopath to refill my prescription for Armour. I haven't, and judging from what I see here, it's

Fluctuations in levels
Me again, here to pick your lovely brains! Is it normal for thyroid levels to fluctuate all the time? I'm not on any medication. I had 2 blood tests 1 week apart, both taken early morning before breakfast. First lot: TSH 5.05 (0.27-4.2) T4 13.1 (12-22) T3 4.3 (3.1-6.8) Second lot: TSH 2.94 (0.40-4.90

TPO result.
Hi, according to my test results, I have raised TPO antibodies. Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies 99.7 kIU/L 0 - 34 Am I right in thinking this is potentially indicating Autoimmune/Hashimoto's? Thanks

Cannot get my TSH in range - help needed please, should I switch to levo?
Hello, I’ve been taking Thyroid-S NDT for 6+years and I’ve been trying to get my TSH to be close to range but cannot seem to get anywhere. I’ve tracked my ranges from 2022 and I’m still no closer. I’m nervous as when medichecks send my results they always say there’s higher risk of heart issues and osteoporosis

Repeated Thyroid Test
Hi everyone, I first wrote 3 months ago with a query about my blood test results and I found your information incredibly useful. At the time one of your members suggested I probably have Hashimotos. My doctor's response to the first result was to do nothing, repeat test in 3 months. Which is what I

Hey everyone,I have trouble tolerating thyroid meds despite trying different combos, even different NDT med types etc, while it hasn't been a problem before, it was smooth sailing on Armour and great increasing, until I crashed mid 2017. Currently on 2.375 gr Armour and 5 mcg Thybon t3. My salivary cortisol

Confused about latest blood tests - why are FT4 and FT3 rising, but I still feel awful and I'm undiagnosed and not on any meds?
Sorry for the super long post.... I would very much appreciate the help of you wonderful people on this forum. I am a bit confused with my latest blood test results that I just received yesterday, and am hoping that you will be able to help me understand what's going on. I'll try to keep it brief, while

NHS Lab tests available to buy privately
Hi everyone, Not sure if I am allowed to name the lab but if one of the moderators will advise I would be grateful. To give you an idea of costs TSH FT3 FT4 TPO Antibodies would cost £42 Thyroid Peroxidase £29 Diabetes Vitamin D Total Cholesterol Thyroid £49 They have gradually built up the tests

Hi everyone, I am on 4 grains NDT and 20 mcg T3 per day. My FT4 is just beneath normal range, FT3 upper third of range and suppressed TSH. My endo is supportive but says he has never seen anyone on so much thyroid replacement! I am wondering why I need so much (and have a few symptoms I would like

T4 and T3 optimal 3 hours after thyroid meds, I feel great, but suppressed TSH is throwing a spanner in the works.
Hi, these are my recent results taken exactly 3 hours after I had taken my thyroid meds. (Normally, I wouldn't take my thyroid meds the morning of a thyroid function test, but my functional health doctor wanted to see whether I was overmedicating, worries about bone health....) I take 75mcg Levo and

Just had hysterectomy due to prolapsed bladder and think it's come back due to severe constipation.
Completely fed up. Does this mean I have to have surgery again? I have also ran out of ndt again for about the fifth time due to it being so expensive and my tsh was really high about 6.5 when I had blood test for my pre op. It was also high the previous time as I had ran out then as well. I hate
