HI

I had the Whipple operation 4 years ago which was successful, however I still suffer from digestive issues such as loose motions which seem to lead to a rash . Also stomach cramps especially at night.Lots of Uti’s. Does anyone else suffer the same problems and how are they dealing with them.

Hi MERLOT10sI suffer from loose stools and stomach crampsv(either that or constipation for me personally but never normal)although I don't have the rash you have and I have not had a wgipple operation. I drink fybogel and it really helps the loose stool and cramps. It's a good way of getting fibre especially times when I'm struggling to eat. It can be bought from chemist or prescribed. I don't know anything about the rash so maybe you could speak to your GP or Gastro if possible. Hope this helps you a bit.
