Meeting with consultant today

As mentioned in response to previous posts I had my whipple on 18th November 2019

Seen my consultant today

Had procedure as we thought precancerous in ampulla but seems not the case.

Ampulary adenocarcinoma detected and also detected in 5 out of 27 lymph nodes.

He said it's a stage 3 cancer and I am to see oncologist this Thursday

It's taken wind out of my sails as I don't really know what to expect.

Had complications with procedure and in hospital for nearly 4 weeks but now responding well
