Hi all. Just had my blood test results back, which I’m told are all normal. Just thought I’d ask if anyone can confirm they are in fact normal, as I certainly don’t feel normal 😂 I’ll set it out June 23 v. March 24 for comparison. June 23 Serum folate 14.7 ug/L Serum ferritin 16 ug/L Serum B12

How often to increase t3
I started on 6.25 mcg of t3 and increased by 6.25 every 5-7 days. I've been on 31.25 mcg for 2 weeks now and feel exactly the same= dreadful. Shall I keep increasing or wait? I'm also taking 50 mcg of t4. I'm monitoring and taking iron, b12 and vitamin d. I was also taking selenium but stopped now.

Au/ml help
The range for intrinsic factor test result is any result below 1.21u/ml (negative )and above 1.53u/ml (positive). I was informed my result was 1.63. Yes, no measurements of u/ml. When I asked for B12 injections (local GP Wales) as I believed I'd proved I was deficient by these tests coming back high

How often to Self Inject
Hello all. I was just wondering what you all think about how often we should inject with Vit B12. I had been taking shots since about last Dec of 22, but even though it helped, didn't help much. So after finally being diagnosed with PA, I told my wife to inject me every day for 30 days to sort of give

(update) B12, Peripheral Neuropathy, oh and Ozempic...
A few months back I seemed to be 'overdosing' on the B12 injections (I was peeing it straight back out at one point!), so I stopped injecting and things were going okay. But now the past few weeks I'm back to low/no energy, bumping into things, knocking things over, Brain Fog, and incontinence struck

folic acid
Is there a good resource showing the need for good folate levels alongside B12 injections? I’m on 4-weekly B12 injections but my latest serum folate blood test is at the very low end of the range, but technically in range according to the NHS so ‘no action required’. It’s gone down while I’ve been

My Mucusy
Someone on this forum used this term and I found it helpful. I know what that experience means to me in that I know when I am mucusy. I have had this experience my whole life. It happens when my body is stressed both eustress and stress. I have noticed it in others. I can often tell that a person is

Going To Self Inject -Questions
Hi, I’ve had 4 inputs over several months from GP’s and consultants with hope being built up then crashed. I am on 3 monthly jabs, as with so many others, is no where near enough. I’ve had the loading doses which returned me to normal functioning half way through 2nd week. Took bloods after last jab

My doctors won’t investigate
Typically I suffer with chronic symptoms of low B12 but all my results seem to be ignored by GP. My ferritin is 35 ug/L (indeterminate), vitamin b12 is 157ng/L (low) and in my FBC my MCV is 95.5 (just below higher cut off) and MCH is 32.1 (slightly high - comment on blood test is ‘no action despite having

Do people on here have hypothyroidism or CFS?
I recovered from ME/CFS a while ago although I did have one period where I had myclonic jerks at night along with fatigue which seemed to go away when I took B12 supplements even though my B12 was in the low normal range (350 or somehting like that it was and the low range was 190). ANyway, I am wondering

Changing from Levo to NDT - dosing advice needed
Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice on dosing - switching from levothyroxine 75mcg to NDT (most probably ERFA or Thyroid S) but I've been advised by pennyannie that ERFA might be best as I have hashimotos. So what should I aim to be on with NDT? My vitamin levels are good as I supplement with Vit

B12 levels advice
I have been trying to raise my B12 levels for a number of years (since i was diagnosed hypothyroid and advised B12 levels needed to be higher). I have been taking supplements since April 2022 (although slightly erratic as i sometimes forget) but my B12 levels have not significantly increased , see

Does PA count as a disability?
I have PA and have a diagnosis by a doctor of such. It manifests itself through physical and mental health conditions. For me, I have hearing loss (I am not deaf but, for example, struggle using the phone. I am not sure if this is caused by PA), difficulties walking (although I can walk slowly and
