Is 3 times enough? And inherit.
I've been si M,W & F for couple months now and beginning to think it's not enough. Not sure if this happens to anyone else, but I get very tired, and weak until I eat something. It's a night and day difference after I eat, then a few hours later that all repeats. Do you all think I may need to increase

Long time member advice required on recent thyroid blood test after starting HRT.
I’m just after some advice on my recent blood test I had taken myself. I know the drill no levo 24 hours before. NDT gap of 8 hours. Vitamins stoped week before My test was taken at the same time as all other blood test 7.10am. I always stick to this routine to ensure consistency. I decided to take

High BP, abdominal pain and sickness and UTI
I initially had bouts of anaemia and tiredness throughout the early 2000s and was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism around 2010. I was told that my excess weight would drop off me after being prescribed Levothyroxine. That didn't happen but I did get side effects and symptoms of an underactive thyroid

Hi! I was treating my thyroid for years, and in 2020, my endocrinologist assured me that everything was fine. However, she advised me to start planning for a baby before turning 30. Now, at 28 years old, while trying to conceive, I visited an OB-GYN where I did hormone tests. The results revealed

79yo male with classic tale of RLS. Started at 17yo. Progressing over the years. Augmentation last Christmas on Pramipexole and a hell of a time transitioning to gabapentin. Unfortunately though I could not stop the attacks even on high doses and taking it as advised by Sue Johnson. Helpful doc allowed

thyroid?cortisol?
hello everyone , I’m writing from France, where information about thyroid/adrenals correlation are quite inexistants , as well as doctors aware of. One year ago I’ve been diagnostics of secondary hypothyroidism (TSH 0,6 FT4 7,9 range 9,2-17) FT3 2,5 range 2-4,4). At the ecography my gland is small

CT scan instead of gastroscopy / colonoscopy with all PA tests normal
My Active B12 was just about into the sufficient range. My H Pylorii was negative, as was anti IFAB and coeliac. Homocysteine was fine too. My neurologist’s physical exam was normal ( though the sharp stimulus was a little less sharp on the feet. ) I have been taking sublingual B12 and the tingling

interpreting results
Hi everyone, I’ve recently ordered a blood test to check my TSH, T4 and T3 levels. I’m also having my antibodies, ferritin, vit D, B12 and folate checked aswell. I’m fine interpreting the results of the vitamins and minerals, and I also understand that the higher the TSH the more underactive you are

Tablets v Injections
Hi, After a few years of monitoring my B12 levels are now low enough for my GP to offer treatment. I was expecting injections but have been prescribed tablets. Is anyone else on these ? I assumed from what I had read that injections were the primary option. Thanks

Low Folate

Vitamin D
Does anyone have evidence (for
a
questioning GP) about
vitamin
D levels? Mine was 172nmol/L and GP says it’s too high. However optimal is stated as 250-350.

DX 5 years on Dec 26th. What I’ve learned about my PD. Please Read! It might be helpful.
PD is very common in my family. My dad and his dad had it. I have almost no hope they will ever cure it because it’s so complex. Here is what caused my Parkinson’s. (IMO) 1.Genetics. This is something you cannot change. I know my genes have issues with clearing out toxins? PD is a man made disease

Advice needed...
After being on 125mcg Levo for 25 years it was reduced to 100mch last year as my GP said my blood results were indicating over-medicating. I asked for an Endo referral and he carried out a blood test which showed the following... TSH 7.01 T4 13 T3 3.6 He then advised my GP to increase Levo to 125mcg

I’m Quite Annoyed Over My Latest Blood Tests.
Three months ago my Levo was reduced because they thought I was taking too much. This week I had my blood test and they haven’t even tested T3 as last time so how am I supposed to know if it’s much better or not?. The September results were: TSH - 0.03 [0.35-4.94] FT4 - 20.1 [9.0-19.0] FT3 - 4.89 [

newly diagnosed
my friend is newly diagnosed with CLL. It’s not at the stage of needing medical intervention. She wants to be proactive. Does anyone have experience of natural health treatments that work? Such as oxygen therapy or high levels of vitamin c? I would be very interested to hear of positive outcomes.
