Vitamin D supplementation
I have been taking a 25mcg tablet of this for the past couple of years, have also been taking two high strength fish oil capsules per day in the hope that these would help my idiopathic neuropathy. I stupidly didn't realize that fish oil capsules also contain vitamin D and so I am a bit concerned that

TSW - What helps
Topical Withdrawal Syndrome TWS is one of my most painful experiences . Even though I avoid the use of topical steroids now, some creams I use can bring back a milder form of those painful symptoms. My skin has gotten so sensitive!. I can tell you though, wash your face only with water if you are experiencing

Not keen on aspirin? Here's what Nutritional Therapist with a PhD in oncology is offering me...
Hi all I have a history of gastritis, so I'm not keen on what pubmed and other places say about lifetime aspirin. Here's what my Nutritional Therapist (with a PhD in Oncology) says (for me at least). Be aware this is as part of an entire approach to natural health, not just popping a pill, and everyone's

My Years with IBS
Just discovered this forum and joined. I have had stomach issues from a very young age, about 6 but, was diagnosed with IBS in my thirties over 40 years ago. In the beginning, I used to get violent bouts of diarrhoea that would hit me whilst still eating a meal. It was so embarrassing that I hated eating

Prostap, HRT and period.
I’m starting to feel a bit lost and don’t really know what to do. I can’t get hold of my Endo nurses. Basically, I’m 7 months into Prostap 3dc and awaiting excision. I was on tibolone up until about 2 weeks ago and my nurse upped me to Kliovance to help with hot flushes and insomnia (which it seems to

Herbal tampons
I had a laparoscopy done in november to check for endometriosis and blockage in my tubes. Endo removed and tubes open but slow due to some scarring. We have been referred to fertillity clinic and first appointment is in a week and a half. I know they will either suggest an op to remove scarring or ivf

Supplements for ADHD?
Hi everyone, my 6 yo has just been diagnosed with adhd. We are starting Guanfacine and have been recommended omega-3 fish oil. I’m seeing a lot of varying recommendations on the internet for potency - does anyone have perspectives on what potency / ratio of the 3 / 6 in the fish oil is recommended? Thanks
