Joining the ICD club
I had a few runs of
ventricular
tachycardia
(non-sustained) and managed to capture one on my Alivecor Kardia (worth the expense for just that ecg). I'm now sat in Barts waiting to know whether it's just a subcutaneous ICD or one with wires into the heart so they can also pace if necessary.

Just got off the phone to arrythmia nurse at the Brompton, my holter monitor was mostly sinus rhythm, with rare pac's and rare pvc's, burden of 0.1%....however one run 5 beats on 29th October of broad complex tachycardia....so I'm still none the wiser, šššš, not sure if that's serious or not.

PVCs and aneurysm
Iāve had PVCs for some years but now a recent Echocardiogram has shown a dilation in a valve in the ascending aorta. Iām very scared this is another way of saying aneurysm. The cardiologist is arranging a CT scan, but Iām hoping someone here can shed some light on this. Has anyone got an aneurysm and

Bisoprolol to verapamil.
Hi everyone. I used to be on propranaol for 13 years for SVT and pvc's however they stopped controlling the ectopics so cardiology swoped me to bisoprolol. I went up 6.25mg but didn't like them as they made me constantly tired, breathless and did not touch the ectopics. 2 days ago cardiologist swiped

Bisoprolol and air hunger?
Iāve been on Bisoprolol for a couple of months now after trying carvidelol and metoprolol.. I have sinus tachycardia and PVCs.. my main issue is waking up every morning with a HR of about 130-170 bpm. Upping carvedilol and metoprolol didnāt help, it only made me dizzy. I felt like Bisoprolol helped and

heart palpitations and anxiety
Hi guys, i recently found out I have a more common type of arrhythmia, PVCs. I had a really bad bout of them where I could feel my heart skipping and pounding in my chest for 12 hours! I went to the hospital and had a full work up, they chalked the PVCs up to a combination of my low potassium (triggered

Aberrancy vs PVCs
I decided to send last nightās Kardia results to them for analysis. It came back confirming atrial fibrillation (no surprises there). Then it said, āaberrancy vs PVCsā. Does anyone know what this means? I know what PVCs are but Iām not sure what this statement means. By the way I saw my GP today who

PVC due to anxiety??
It's been two months since I've started feeling PVCs. It is the most frightening and uncomfortable feeling ever. Sometimes I feel like my heart is going to give out on me, or I'm going to have an heart attack. It all started in south korea, I was there for two months with two friends, and they started

Life changing
Hi everyone I've been getting pvc and svt since Christmas 2017. I'm taking Verapamil and Tambocor at the moment I still get the occasional strange short missed beat or similar some days. It makes me feel a little off like lightheaded and strange feeling. One specialist has told me to live with it

last year. Previous to this, I was a very fit lady running regularly and competing in races (I'm 47 by the way). I had an ablation in Jan this year.

Runs of pvcs?
I've had tests done and my heart is over all healthy but I've always had pvc's every once in a while. I'm in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and lately I'm having runs of pvc's. I'll get them every other heart beat for about 15 minutes and then they'll eventually die out. What could this be? Why am I getting
