Here is one for you. It’s a mystery to me. I have had PVCs for years. Confirmed on Holter monitors. They don’t bother me.
I had my first a fib episode in 2013 and was cardioverted back to NSR and was fine until I threw a Pulmonary Embolism in April of this year. A Fib was what made me go to the hospital and then they found the clot. Anyway, several months after that, I had another episode, and then started getting PACs for the first time ever. My Kardia picked them up and so does my ILR.
I got my ablation in November 2018, and the. They really picked up as expected. We all know this happens.
Now I have two or three to five a day. Not so bad. However, each one feels like I’m about to go into AF. I know people are familiar with this fear too.
Why on Earth, would I have never had a PAC before either a completely normal heart? Did the worsening AF tiger the little buggers before thr ablation? I know they are normal after ablation. So weird and I can’t figure it out. Does it mean something changed in my heart? LA enlargement?
