Any tips for getting your breath back ?
I tried using my
ventolin
inhaler with spacer ( I’m asthmatic as well ) and couldn’t get the
ventolin
down. I had the urge to fold myself over and try and breath that way and over a 10 mins breathing slowed so I could take air in.

Symbicort or not.
I have
Ventolin
100 too. Been asthmatic for 33yrs. I tried 'Easy Halers' a couple of years ago but didn't get on with them. I prefer PMDIs. So, recently the asthma nurse suggested I try Symbicort 200/6.

Misleading Information
Bit disillusioned with some content Just read a contributor asserting that
Ventolin
is a steroid. It isn't. Steroid Inhalers are Corticosteroids I would counsel that folk check facts before offering guidance. Noted a coue of misguided contributors already so I will just leave

I can't use
Ventolin
as that causes palpitations and migraine. Really would appreciate your experiences and thoughts/suggestions. Thanks so much!

asthmatic response to new rug made in India
It immediately caused me to go from being virtually free of asthma symptoms to being in need of steroid inhaler and frequent
ventolin
doses - I was very short of breath, my lungs were irritated and when exercising, swimming or walking, I’d need
ventolin
but found it wouldn’t work if I was also taking

Salmon v Ventolin
For a long time I insisted there is such an obvious difference and I must have
Ventolin
. As soon as I run out I will inform them only
Ventolin
. Don't care what they think but I have a history with the hospital.

Shaky and dizzy 24 hours after Ventolin?
I had a bit of a flareup yesterday morning - nothing serious and eased after 2 puffs of
Ventolin
. I usually feel a bit tired and wobbly after, so took it easy the rest of the day.

Trimbow update
I have been on the Trimbow three weeks now and it does seem to be working , I noticed I was walking faster and the use of my
ventolin
is much reduced . I still have a chesty cough lingering on after a cold but no infection , I need to ask the question does Trimbow make you cough?

Re ventolin
Hi Ollie 1976I can't really help as I can't use
ventolin
as I get horrendous palpitations from it. I have an inhaler called symbicort, it is a dry powder inhaler & is a combined preventer and emergency treatment like
ventolin
. Sorry I can't help cheers Irene.

Sodium cromoglycate inhaler (Intal)
Pubmed indicates it's less effective than albuterol/
ventolin
/sabultamol in clinical studies. This probably gave the NHS the excuse to delist it. However, clinical studies are for the average population.

on holiday with afib episodes and still enjoying it.
I recently posted that I have been AFIB episode free for quite a few months now and gave all the credit to my GP surgery changing my asthma medication from
ventolin
to fostair. My breathing improved massively but at the same time my AFIB episodes and ectopics decreased massively too.
