Jerking Awake To Catch Breath.
Good morning I‘m sure I read a post recently about someone being asleep then waking suddenly because they couldn’t breathe, waking with a gasp & a bit of panic. I can’t find the post at all now, I remember thinking at the time that’s happened to me a few times, but don’t remember any of the replies.

Weird new allergies and non-allergic asthma
Anyone else have this issue? I have severe non-allergic, non-eosinophilic asthma, but also have hayfever - which is a bit weird but I have read up on it and it's possible; seems to be mainly trees. I have triggers including floral scents such as lavender, rose, violet etc but they just trigger asthma

Inhalers without counters??😒
Hi everyone...... This conundrum is making me batty.....does anyone have a reliable way of knowing when the bloomin inhaler is nearly empty?......without tallying every time you use it?? And why, does anyone know, does clenil sometimes come with a counter and sometimes not......and ventolin never does

Antihistamines
I posted a couple of weeks ago about a nightly cough, and varied peak flow of between 380 and 500 (best is 500). I finally got a GP who believed it wasn't covid and was prescribed fexofenadine and dymista (plus a saline nasal spray). I am also on Fostair 200/6, montelukast, and spireva as well. These

Hi! So I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on returning to work at the moment, with having asthma? Ventolin inhaler -v- salbutamol generic inhaler
I feel better with the genuine ventolin inhaler rather than the generic one. Does anyone else have any advice on this?

Important update! 18/05/18: Thank you all SO MUCH! I can't express how helpful everyone has been on here, I'm only 19 and don't have a lot of knowledge about workplace legalities or just anything to do with this kind of situation, and everyone's help on here has just been outstanding. So thank you all

Newly Diagnosed
Hello, I am new here, as well as newly diagnosed with asthma. Finding it kind of hard to cope with now, so I decided to vent here and ask for advice. I am 27 years old, male. I would like to apologize in advance for the incoming wall of text. Even though I have just been diagnosed I think I've had symptoms

Uniphyllin?
Hello, I was started on uniphyllin 5 weeks ago, 200mg twice per day. I suffered with heart palpitations for the first few days, but have been fine since. I’m in hospital at the moment as I’ve not been well, my heart rate has been averaging around 105 bpm, however this morning my heart skipped a beat

Is it really asthma?
Hi everyone, Here's another long post... I've been having a persistent cough and breathing difficulties for some time and my GP thinks it's asthma. I'm 31, non-smoker with no history of chest infections or other respiratory problems and no known allergies so I'm a bit puzzled as to how or why I'd develop

So Annoying
Looks like I have either viral or cough induced asthma. Waiting for nurse assessment. Fostair and ventolin as needed. Sats 96% peak flow 550 for a 67 yr old. Get this annoying tickle off and on back of throat when breathing thru mouth Just finished Prednisilone as gasps lately. On antihistamines. As

Struggling
Hi everyone, just need to vent.... any advice appreciated. I was diagnosed with asthma as a child, grew out of it as I got older, and spent most of my late teens and twenties asthma-free. My inhalers would literally gather dust (not good I know, but shows how controlled my symptoms were!) Then 6 months

Daily symptoms for 10 months so far
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. Im 31 and have had mild asthma my whole life, diagnosed at 5. I was on clenil modulite 200 and salbutamol most my life.
