Hubby is in remission but still needs to take his A&V for an additional 8.5months.
His Dr stated that at a microscopic level there is CLL and by taking his Acalabrutinib and
Venetoclax
for the remaining cycles (8.5 months more) there will be absolutely no CLL in his bone marrow. He also stated he hopes that my hubby will be in a long and deeper remission.

weight gain and elevated blood glucose level on venetoclax treatment
I am a half way through on V treatment and my blood numbers and spleen size. are already in a normal range. But my blood glucose level became elevated from below 100 to 150. I also have high blood pressure , resulting in a stroke . I appreciate you sharing information or expirience on those symptoms

Stem cell transplant starts on Monday
The rationale was that
Venetoclax
wasn't going to last that long and that with my aggressive and genetically unstable disease Richter's was a possible development in the future. Pirtobrutinib remissions were not long enough to give me the disease control we wanted.

Brother about to start treatment, advice please
He’s about to start treatment with obinutuzumab and
venetoclax
. He’s on a few meds for blood pressure and several medications for epilepsy. Wondering if anyone has done this treatment who also has epilepsy and how the treatment went? He’s pretty anxious about it all.

Venetoclax reactions
I am currently under treatment for my sll with obinutuzumab and Venetoclax. The O infusion is going quite well, but I can't tolerate the
Venetoclax
even at the minimum of 20. My Anc numbers drop too low. Is it possible that I simply can't take it, and only do the infusion.

Safe to attend outdoor music festival?
I am currently on
Venetoclax
and mask when indoors. I am really wanting to go to an outdoor music festival. There will be many people but the space is large. Is it too risky for me?

Skin Feels itchy all over
I have noticed over the past few days that my skin feels itchy all over and am curious if this is due to the
Venetoclax
or the Obinituxmab. Has anybody else experienced this? If its from either of these drugs why would it happen a few months later?

POST 5 - CAR-T cell therapy
Obviously the bridging treatment of five Rituximab infusions whilst continuing with
Venetoclax
had not cleared the bone marrow. The proposal is now to commence Acalabrutinib in the next few weeks to try and reduce the disease burden. IF it works I may still be able to join the Trial.

POST 3 - CAR-T cell therapy
Since my last post things have been ticking over with regular blood tests, Clinic appointments and my bridging treatment which consists of weekly infusions of Rituximab and continuing with
Venetoclax
, 300mg daily. Apart from a reaction to the first infusion of Rituximab all has gone smoothly.

CAN RITUBIMAB +VENETOCLAX treatment causes yellowish loose poop
I started the RV treatment and I rarely have normal lookin stools. They are often loose and of a yellowish or greenish color. Sorry for speaking about this topic. I was hoping it was only a side effect that would disappear sooner than later. 🙃 Any comments most welcome 🙏🏼🙄

Starting Venetoclax next week
Hi everyone,I found out today that I am to start
Venetoclax
next week and Rituximab 6 weeks later for a total of 6 months. I was diagnosed in 2018, had 6 months of FCR in 2019 which went pretty smoothly except for severe Neutropenia. I feel fine and my bloods are within normal range.
