Introduction & a quick question...
After considering the viable options based on the cytogenetics, we are going with an Obinutuzumab &
Venetoclax
one-year treatment plan. My doctor initially had me take a low dose of (50% normal) Chlorambucil for a few weeks to bring down the lymphocyte count into the low 100s.

mild struggles
Various treatments. 2014 ibrutinib. 2016
Venetoclax
and obinutuzumab on trial. It worked. 2021 CLL back in bone marrow. Now starting to grow slowly. Haemaglobin only 13. I like more. I’m 54. Seem to constantly have colds. Chronic and recurrent sinusitis. Bowel trouble too.

no more obinutuzimab
I will continue with the
Venetoclax
and hopefully will be able to get to uMRD. My doctor said I am his first patient who had to stop obinutuzimab, the one time you don’t want to be special.

I’m on the maintenance dose of
Venetoclax
, 16 months in on the 24 month treatment with V&R. I’ve been neutropenic but I’m ok now and all blood markers are good. I have a B12 deficiency which I’m having injections. Any advice would be welcome.

Husband nearing completion of O+V/should there be a test for UMRD?
His blood levels are ALL in range, with the exception of absolute lymphocytes and absolute eosinophils, which remain low due to the
venetoclax
. Is this the standard protocol? Not sure if we should be breaking out the streamers, confetti and champagne just yet.

'Headspin'
She seems to be leaning towards, '
Venetoclax
Pill's and an 'Obinutuzumab' drip. She is keen to have this done in January, in case the tumour issue flares up, as it will be better if the CLL treatment is completed by them.

Has anyone started V-0 treatment recently with positive results?
I am due to start OBIMUTUZUMAB &
VENETOCLAX
it next week after Acalabrutinib caused afib and I am on it 1/2 dose with 1 beta blocker and blood thinner that cause stress and fatigue. I would like to be reassured as at the moment I am a nervous wreck. Thank you.

Vertigo and Venclexta?
I'm suspicious that this is yet another
Venetoclax
side effect as the drug mfg does note potential "dizziness". Since we are so close to the end of treatment, I'm curious if anyone else has experienced vertigo while on
Venetoclax
. Many thanks again to all who guide us on this journey!

Ibrutinib +venetoclax
Can anyone please clarify which countries have approved and now fund the use of this combination as a fixed term first-line treatment for CLL? 🙏Is it FDA approved?

Taking Venetoclax am/ pm
I've been on
Venetoclax
since last May. I've been taking it in the morning with food and do ok, but about 1-2 hours later I just feel a little cruddy/nauseous for awhile, then I'm fine. I'm thinking about switching to taking it at night.

blurry vision Venetoclax
Since I have taken the 200mg
Venetoclax
my vision become blurry. Is this something to worry about? I also started to have feelings of nausea since I have been on the 200mg. Tomorrow I will start with the 400mg and I am not sure what this will do to my body.

Stomach upset after treatment
There have been many posts about heartburn and indigestion when taking
Venetoclax
and I have perused those. But I am UMRD- after O+V and last week suddenly started to have acid indigestion and heartburn. In the morning I have a constant need to clear my throat as well.

cll and associated skin disorder
I was treated for CLL with
Venetoclax
for a year ending last April. It was very effective. Half-way through the treatment I developed a skin rash on arms and legs. The rash started with painful itchy spots. They did not seem to follow the lymphatic pathways.

Venetoclax for dummies
It was scientists at that institute that discovered the bcl-2 protein in 1988 that led to clinical trials for
venetoclax
in Melbourne. In 2009, they partnered with Abbvie to develop
venetoclax
further.
Venetoclax
is being used now to fight other cancers as well.
