My husband is starting cycle 12 of Venclexta, reduced to 200mg /day due to 2 bouts of Neutropenia, and has recently experienced Vertigo twice. The first time, I did not associate this with the treatment; however, it seemed peculiar when it happened a second time, only eight weeks later. He was advised to see a Neurologist by his Physical Therapist; his specialist is on vacation. I'm suspicious that this is yet another Venetoclax side effect as the drug mfg does note potential "dizziness". Since we are so close to the end of treatment, I'm curious if anyone else has experienced vertigo while on Venetoclax. Many thanks again to all who guide us on this journey!

Hi lisakc1,

Here is a link to the 45 previous times that vertigo was mentioned in past postings:

I hope you can find some useful information in those.

I have been taking Venetoclax as monotherapy since November 2020. I have mild vertigo if I lie down in bed too quickly but it passes after a few minutes. I hadn't connected it with Venetoclax, so thanks for raising the possibility of a link.
Hi Isakc1
I am on V and will complete in 3 months!
I always had low blood pressure, when starting treatment it dropped again, the „new normal“ is about 90/70. I often suffer from mild headache and recently had dizziness for about 3 days. I am more tired in the morning compared to before treatment.I thought the V may decrease blood pressure and therefore the trouble with headache/dizziness. Will see after completion if it improves all over.
All the best!

I had terrible vertigo about 3 months into trial with venetoclax - my team weren’t surprised.
I had a bout of vertigo that lasted about 2 weeks while on venetoclax. Nobody seemed to know why. It has passed.
Yes I have had it with ventoclax but the nurses said they hadn’t found any others with this as a side effect. I hadn’t seen anyone on here with it either so thought it was just me . I have been given Betahistine 8mg 3 times a day and can up it to 2 tablets 3 times a day if needed I have found it is working hope this helps .
Interesting. I have been on Venetoclax for just over a year now and I too suffer bouts of Vertigo and light headed/ dizziness. I had a short break from it due to Covid treatment (Paxlovid) a few months ago and on resumption and ramp up the bouts did seem to get a bit worse. I never really made the connection so thanks for raising the question.
I have the exact same problem I'm so tired of this dizziness
