Rituximab and Systemic Sclerosis
Hi, just wondered if anyone has large calcium deposits ( I have one approx 9 x 6x 5 cm) associated with systemic sclerosis and been given rituximab infusions to help reduce? If so, how were you afterwards and any success with the treatment?

AF meds and Valium
Hi all, don't remember asking this first because I'm super worry but, please, anybody has been prescribed
Valium
when on Digoxin, Flecainide, Sotalol? It appears to relax me and have better sleep, and I only have it some time. I don't think it affects me as it does to others.

Chemist dispensing levo in packs of 25mg is this ok please? Asking for my son
The chemist is giving my son his 125m levo in packs all in boxes of 25s is this ok? He’s on MP and was getting pack of 100 and another pack in 25mg but now chemist has changed it. He is concerned that taking his daily dose like this could be a problem. Also His blood test said he has Very low calcium

Dairy products
New study from Japan. When I was diagnosed there was a clear association between dairy & PCa (particularly mortality). The smoking guns: calcium (inhibits hormonal vitamin D) & IGF-I (it promotes rapid growth in babies.) The years rolled by & suddenly, dairy was safe. & now?

I don't know what to do now?
Back in July, after a routine blood test, my Levo was reduced from 175mg to 150mg because my T4 was too high. I had a further test 7 weeks later and my T4 had gone up slightly. I posted my results on here and was advised to have some private blood test to check on Vits etc. My dear mum became very

Dexa scan
I discussed the results of my dexa scan with my GP yesterday, he said that although the scan was normal that because i have been taking preds long term he wanted to prescribe me Aledronic acid and that should also continue taking the accrete d calcium tablets. I must admit that I am not keen on taking

Hi again ❤️ Just posted but feel I need to clarify some things, on last post I forgot to mention that the A&E doctor said I should probably drop My t3 medication by 5mg to see if that helps with the symptoms, palpitations, fast heartbeat, sweating, tremor, he discounted the other symptoms I had of utterly

Electrolytes and postpartum psychosis
Hey!Recently i read an article, where it was explained that lithium is used as a mood stabilizer due to its capacity to have an impact on ionic in-cell balance and also on transportation of ions of sodium and calcium between cells. And that the imbalances of sodium may be one of the causes of depression

Have really bad stomach pains/constipation since changing to the chewable tablets. Anyone else?
I have been taking Caltrate calcium + Vit D3 supplements for over a year with no problems at all. Sadly I can't get these in Cyprus anymore so I've bought an alternative called Natecal D3, which are chewable. I've been taking them for 4 days and have developed bloating, wind, constipation all day

Just for information. Note, this seems to be the first such 1000 IU product.

FINALLY!!!! answers after all these years
Hello everyone. I have not been on for awhile for many reasons, mainly trying to figure out what was really going on with me. After 20+ years of being told I have PBC, I was diagnosed with NOT having PBC, but drug induced liver injury. Seems it mimics PBC, so I have the symptoms, but not an autoimmune

Adcal or not
Sorry I'm unable to cut and paste. A recent letter to a doctor in the newspaper asked about having taken Lansoprazole for a problem can cause bones to thin. Recently diagnosed with advanced Osteoporosis she has been prescribed AA and Adcal. The doctor suggests that calcium carbonate would be better changed

Turning Point?
Today, 30th sept.2021. The best I have felt physically and mentally in over 12 months. I genuinely feel like I once did when "normal". Even the slight hip issue which is 30 years wear and tear properly back and entirely manageable. Posture needs adjusting so my hip drop exercise paramount now. Weight
