TYROSINE
? . . A functional medicine practitioner put me on gigantic doses of
tyrosine
(3000 mg daily) in an attempt to raise my dopamine level. I recently read that people with hypothyroid should not take
tyrosine
(so I'm now trying to taper off)!

Conversion problem? Please help.
Hello I'm wondering if I have a conversion problem. I currently take 75mg of tirosint. I did not take it the morning of lab work. Current symptoms: fatigue, hairloss, cold intolerance, brain fog, dark skin, anxiety, depression, weight gain. I still feel very hypothyroid.

I take L-
tyrosine
to help with the T4 to T3 conversion. I have high levels of Prolactin and low levels of oestrogen. The endocrinologist wants to reduce my meds from 100mcg to 75mcg.

Tirosint availablility
Hi there, I ordered Tirosint from the USA a while back and it worked wonders. Due to the expense, I couldn't keep it up. I've now been off meds for a year as I couldn't handle the side effects of meds and I'm in the normal range so endo doesn't want to know, but I know I'm really not well at all. Does

Tirosint
Hi Can someone tell me if Tirosint is T3 or just T4 in a gel form, and is it absorbed by the body more easily and therefore better than tablets? Will doctors prescribe it or is it too expensive? Thank you.

Switching Back to T4 Only - Did I Do It Right?
I recently went hyper from adding T3 to my regimen. My endo advised me to stop all thyroid meds for 3 days, then drop the T3, and take only T4. So I went FROM: 5 mcgs of T3 twice a day *50 mcgs of Tirosint once a day (*this was up to 88 mcgs of Tirosint when I went hyper, we went down to 50 a couple

Naturethroid
Does anyone know where I could get NatureThroid? It has not been available in Connecticut, USA for a couple of months. My Dr. prescribed Tirosint in the meantime, and I don’t like how I feel. Any help would very much be appreciated.

Low estrogen from thyroxine anyone?
Hey guys! Thanks for your time in advance. I'm a female who has been dealing with Hashimotos for a year. I've gotten about 50% better but have completely plateaued. One thing I've encountered is zero libido. I know that's typical, but I read an interesting article about how thyroxine can interfere with

Has anyone tried Tyrosine supplements?
I know there was a study done a while back on starting with 750 mg the first week and adding 750 per week up to 3000 mg I think? If someone has seen and read the study with findings that would be cool to know!

Tirosint alternative to Levo T4
Has anyone suffering from hair loss due to levothyroxine tried Tirosint. If so has the hair loss stopped and I'd this drug available in the nhs?
