Saw Cardiologist today, now more anxious than ever.
Hi Everyone Thank you all for your lovely replies to my original post. I saw the cardiologist today and he says he thinks my PH is primarily caused by my asthma/COPD. He didn't put me on any medications at this stage. He wants an ultra sound done on my heart in September [[2 months away!] to compare

Cold Turkey
Hello Everyone, What happens if i just "Cold Turkey" Stop the 6.5 mg of methylprednisolone? I'm so sick of it all. I've gotten very low on meds (even zero for a few days) and the pain and stiffness return so bad i can't function. If i just quit, what's the worst that can happen?

PEG vs Aspirational Pneumonia
Mum has reached a new point in her illness and food intake is now causing her to be sick on occasion which is ultimately leading to seizures and a risk of choking. We have been told the only way to ultimately stop this is via a peg or accept that this will eventually lead to her choking getting pneumonia

6 month old chronic cough
My 6 month old baby has had a cough on and off for the last 4 months . Back to the gp various times and three courses of antibiotics yet this still has not fully gone! Been referred to pediatrics and gp said this may be the start of asthma but hard to diagnose due to his age. I’m really getting anxious

GCA and Cough/Interstitial Lung Disease?
Does anyone with GCA have a dry, sometimes productive, cough? It feels like a bronchial irritation and I cough more when I speak. The cough comes and goes. I read that it is an uncommon symptom of GCA. TB has been ruled out. Chest x-rays show opacities in the base of my lungs. The cough occurs

nasal cannula
Hi there, I have recently been commenced on oxygen. i have started with a runny nose and cold. Should I change my cannula after my cold has cleared or does this just apply to chest infections?

GP/Specialist appointments
I am 70 years old and have had asthma for most of my life. I moved from Lancaster in 2010, where I had a fantastic Dr and fully qualified asthma nurse. I now live in the far west of Cornwall and for several reasons need to see a GP. And that is where the problem lies. In February I had a bad fall and
