ADT now failing, what is next for us. ?
After 2 years of
Trelstar
my husbands PSA is now 2. He had RP in 2011, with PSA 32,followed by IRT. No symptoms at all now, no sideeffects from ADT which took PSA to 0. Small rise in blood pressureHas anybody survived for a lenghty time adding a new ADT drug? Should he have chemo?

My urologist changed my eligard injections to
Trelstar
without my knowledge. It was given subq instead of IM as prescribed. Is that a problem?

Greetings from Sweden
He has had
Trelstar
injections for 2 years now and PSA in August was zero, but now apparently around 2 checked by his GP. He has an appointment with his specialist in February. He feels fine without any pain and is exercising a lot. Can PSA bounce during ADT?

Medicare plans
Has anyone found a good supplemental plan which covers more than 66% of
Trelstar
ADT shots? The insurance I am losing covered 75% of a $2600 cost. The best I have found to replace it is 66% of 2900+ dollars.

Is anyone taking Erleada?
For my second ADT treatment my doctor wants to switch to
Trelstar
. From what I read it sounds like Eligard and
Trelstar
are very similar, same side effects. Doctor also wants to add Erleada. After checking my drug plan the cost of the Erleada is exorbitant!!

Advanced PC with a 90 years old
Should he take
Trelstar
shot only (without Bicalutamide or Enzalutamide)? When he becomes castration resistant in the future, I'm afraid he won't have many options because of his age and health condition.

Are we doing enough?
They were also doing
Trelstar
injections every 3 months. In Dec 2021 the oncologist started him on Zytiga/Prednisone. At the end of Jan and into the beginning of Feb he had radiation done to his lymph node in the pelvic area. They did a PSA reading in March and it was 9.00.

Triplet therapy question
I had 8 weeks of radiation and two years
trelstar
in 2016. PSA undetectable thru spring 2021. Rising PSA. Bone scan and AXUMIN found three bone Mets in sternum. Treated with spot radiation. PSA still on the rise after treatment. PSMA scan found numerous other small bone mets in spine and ribs.

An Enigma
I still receive an injection of
Trelstar
every 3 months and am currently taking the chemo drug Lynparza. Thankfully I have no bone pain and PSA scan shows no change in 1 year for minor lesions in liver and spine.

Looking for suggestions
I had a RP in 1999 and PC under control for 20 years through Lupron, Casodex, Radiation, Chemo infusion and
Trelstar
. In 2020 PSA went up to 25 and started Zytiga and PSA went to 126 immediately which was when I started Chemo.

Anyone taking Trelstar?
I am for ADT. I never see it mentioned here. I got boobs, belly, and butt + hot flashes, mainly at night.

Lupron vs Trelstar
My first injection 3+ months ago was with Lupron. When I got my second injection last week I was given Trestar. The PA said it was a common thing to interchange the two due to costs of the drug or availability at the time. Is it indeed a common practice and are there any cons with this practice?

Why is
Trelstar
(triptorelin) so rarely prescribed in the US? It appears to be the first choice agonist in the UK.
