Trelegy Ellipta

Due to recent deterioration in breathing, have been prescribed Trelegy Ellipta inhaler, which I think is more commonly used for COPD, but also for bronchx . Just wondering about others’ experience of this?

I have been on this med for one month. I was taking Fostair Nexthaler 100 mgs but post Covid in October I was struggling to recover my lung capacity. I find that for an hour or so after my once a day inhalation I have a tickly cough. I do rinse my mouth out and gargle afterwards.

Trelegy Ellipta and Spiriva each day too. Montelukast early evening. The inhalers do work but not as well as they did I did have a covid and flu jab at the beginning of October. This is really bad and I will take in any advice, tips, hints +++ D

I have been on this medication for 3 months now and alarmed at how my weight has been in creasing. I am in my seventies and was always a stable weight and this medication does help. I was also started on Ad Cal roughly at the same time. Any thoughts? Thank you. Lungs

At the review the nurse had my ct scan on her computer screen & she then suggested my Copd could be asthma related & she is changing my inhaler to Trelegy ellipta. My apologies for the long post but I’m confused, is asthma the same as emphysema?

So now my pulmonologist wants me to try Trelegy Ellipta or Breo Ellipta. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated . Thanks !

My Doctor recently gave me Trelegy Ellipta and was hopeful I wouldn't react but I did. I can't take it regularly but use it (with docs approval) on days when I need to be out and about for a while and it works. I just can't use it everyday.

My insurance does cover Breo, Advair , Trelegy and Incruse ellipta. For thoses of you that have both a fib and asthma have you been able to take any of theses inhalers without it triggering your a fib ?

Consultant changing inhaler to Trelegy Ellipta. Does anyone use this? Thank you

Then they recommended maybe adding Incruse Ellipta which is an ingredient In Trelegy or going with Trelegy. I am kinda hesitant because I don’t want my a fib to trigger. I read that Trelegy can raise your heart rate as a side effect. So I am worried .

The inhalers that my insurance cover are Trelegy, Breo ,Advair and Incruse ellipta . I am not to familiar if theses inhalers will trigger my a fib. For thoses of you that have a fib and asthma have you found that you can use theses inhalers without having an issue with your a fib.

I’ve been on the high dose of relvar for almost a month now . I have had really bad neck pain and upper back which seems to be getting worse. I can’t think what else is causing it . Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

In Sept 2022 i got the flu which turned into pneumonia. Never been so sick. Anyway after i recovered i had a cough that would not go away. Just a dry loud cough. I got x-rays and a CT scan done which were not damning but said i had a pleural effusion and some plugging etc most likely from the pneumonia
