Trelegy Ellipta and NTM

Hi,I've just been put on Trelegy Ellipta 95/55/22 from Fostair 200/6 which I had been on for about 14 months.

Anyone on Trelegy?

If so what is your experience with it?

Did it improve your asthma?

I've also got bronchiectasis and also had my right lower lobe removed due to infections etc.

I still keep on growing bugs and I will be taking 3 antibiotics for about a year because I have NTM.

Is there anyone out there that's had this treatment for NTM and recovered?

Hello there. I'm on Trelegy also and it's the best thing that's ever happened to my asthma. I tried the Dupixent and it didn't help me at all. I wish I had tried Trelegy before. I feel like I can take a deep breath. Unfortunately it doesn't help my allergies and my asthma is mainly triggered by allergies. I have gone all day without using my nebulizer since I've been on Trelegy. I don't know about the other things you asked about. Sorry. I'm in the USA and I wasn't sure about the other thing you mentioned. Hopefully Trelegy will work for you. I can finally say that I've found it good for my asthma after trying everything else for 5 years. Keep us posted.

How long have you been on Trelegy?I also have allergy especially "dust mite allergy", on a few medications for it. Waiting for an appointment to see a speacilst for the allergy and also gastric speacilist. Respiratory consultant wants to make sure nothing else is going on. As he was confident I would be able to go back to some normality after surgery.

I’ve just started NTM so on that hopefully journey like you. It’s reassuring to see how clear the sputum is that I’m coughing up but I guess that’s just the antibiotics keeping infections away. Good luck and fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Hopefully this will clear the infection up for you. How long have you been on the medication for NTM? And how long is it for?
