so, you are having a review soon. To prepare:
Keep,a diary of your symptoms.
Write down your blood pressures including the time of day you take them and any symptoms you are having (make sure you rest for ten minutes before you take the pressure).
this will make it easy for your medical team to see what’s happening,
I found that bisoprolol at 3.75 made me spaced out and like a zombie for periods of the day . I’m now on 1.25mg and half a tablet of 1.25mg Rampiril, feel so much better. Howe re my BP is pretty good at 114-110 over 71-74 . Arvovastatin 80mg st night , pantaprazole, clopidogrel and aspirin make up the rest . I’ve been consistent with nutrition and make some tweaks in stopping as much ultra processed food as possible, no pigs in blankets , sausages , bacon , ham and cheese over Christmas. I did have some homemade sausage rolls over the week and it was delightful 🤣. I really think that approach has helped , along with keeping walking and exercising. The current cold spell might not be helping you ?
How’s your general lifestyle ? Are you on Mediterranean type diet? Walking /exercising ? Does your cardiac condition prevent you ?
Wishing you all the best 👍🏻
BP is often higher in the morning. My surgery recommends you take it in the morning and again in the evening over at least 5 days & then work out the average. BP goes up and down all day & that’s why the average is important.
