Coming off drugs b4 ablation
I’m on amlodipine (Ca channel blocker) and metoprolol (beta blocker). Plus flecainide (Na channel blocker). All fairly low doses. I have to come off them before my fourth ablation for four days so not looking forward to that. Anyone experienced withdrawal symptoms doing same?

My son is 9 and has always suffered from an overactive bladder. He has to really rush to the toilet when he needs to go. At school he's allowed to leave class without asking whenever he needs to and he wears padded under pants which help if he doesn't quite make it in time, but they won't contain a

Anyone out there suffering with anxiety, depression, ptsd, pobias and Body Dsymorphic D/O? And has given up on life? Who is extremely lonely
I just want to find love again. Miss the feeling to have someone who cares for me. Miss that feeling of love, playfulness/intimacy and the feeling that I can't wait to see that person. I will never feel that happiness and love again!

Desmopressin stopped working
Hi there, this is my first time posting, and I'm hoping others in similar situations can share advice. My 11 year old son still wets the bed. He's been using desmopressin and an alarm since October. Initially things got better (waking up sooner when the alarm sounded, and fewer wet nights) to the point

Dilemma with medication
I have just visited a rheumatologist who has put me back on 5mg of prednisolone, to taper 1 mg every 6 weeks. This is after my doctor tapered me too quickly from 15mg to zero within 7 months. The PMR pain is back and I was reluctant to go back on prednisolone as I have had awful side effects (the GP

The best of three evils: Which medication will cause me least grief?
I've been told my lung function is now about 65%. The scarring has noticeably increased over the last six years. Though, I've also been told my blood pressure has not increased, meaning pulmonary hypertension is unlikely to occur, one positive I guess. If my lung function continues to decrease I

An long overdue update - baby Eliza arrived 16-2-22.
Hi sorry this has taken me so long to do. I had lots of replies and support during my pregnancy. I was induced at 39 weeks mainly due to her size being so big and I was worried about complications that are associated with bigger sized babies . I know people say growth scans aren’t always accurate- in

Fate
I had a successful ablation last September. Some weeks later I had a discussion with my EP and requested I came off anticoagulants. According to CHADS-VASc I’m at level 2 . Regardless, he agreed with my logic for coming off them. Last Thursday walking my large dog I slipped . Broke fingers, major cut

Withholding help!
We are on our 5th day of maximum laxido sachets for dissimpaction for my 3 year old and she is still withholding constantly. So far, she will only poo when fast asleep and unaware. I keep trying to explain to the gp that maybe if she poos whilst awake, I can help reassure her it doesn't hurt and break

No warfarin tests for weeks?
I almost died from warfarin. No one has time to check your INR levels. I bled out from my stomach. 10 days in the hospital. Don't take warfarin if no one has time to check you. I'll never take it ever again. It almost killed me.

Apixaban for Pulmonary Embolism
Hi, I am new to this group and feel relieved that there is a community to support each other. I am a healthy 25 year old female and recently admitted to hospital where it turned out I had a clot on both my lungs and I am now on Apixaban. It has been a lot to take in and a bit of a shock so just thought
