TPO and TG antibodies reduced after 6 weeks of LDN
I had a blood test on the same day before taking the first dose to test my antibodies before starting LDN:
TPO
: 180 (<34) TG: 433 (<115) Yesterday I had a second blood test to test my antibodies to see how LDN has affected them so far:
TPO
: 162 (<34) TG: 382 (<115) Overall this is a 13% reduction

Women with subclinical hypothyroidism and TPO antibodies more prone to miscarriage
This paper indicates that pregant women with subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) and
TPO
antibodies are more prone to miscarriage. Downloadable. TSH of 2.5 and above as a marker for treatment is interesting.

Hashimoto TPO antibodies query
Hi group At my last blood test I had low levels of
TPO
which was classed within normal range. Does the fact you have a low level of the antibodies mean there is a risk of the antibody increase at a later date? Thanks! X

Furthermore he asked for a
TPO
test results are 8.4iu/ml normal range <5.5 My question is as I have long term Hashimotos wouldn’t the antibody count be raised anyway? Or is this result anything of concern? Opinions please 😊. X

Latest blood results - now overmedicated?
They also don't explicitly mention Hashimoto's / Auto Immune Thyroiditis but I think the
TPO
antibodies confirm that as a diagnosis?

Dose of levo positive antibodies
First: TSH 0.005 (0.39-5.33), T4 16.3 (7-16), T3 7.3 (3.8-6) Second: TSH 9.36, T4 6.3 Third: TSH 14.1 T4 7.5 Doctors said this was sub clinical hypo Then tested positive for anti-
tpo
They’ve prescribed 25mcg levo daily. Is this enough? How often should they monitor bloods? Thanks

Partial thyroidectomy
She doesn't have my curiosity and I am not sure at this stage measuring
TPO
/TG would achieve anything. What do you think ?

Latest blood test - am so discouraged - overmedicated to undermedicated
Also, I did have
TPO
Antibodies of 129 but after going gluten free that number has always been in range (less than 10). Doc explained once overmedicated it is 12 - 24 months to recover. I am now at 18 months.

TSH levels query?
Just after some advice, I've just had my blood results back for my hormone tests, I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and the TSH level is showing as 2.3 mIU/L, I have read the upper suggested number is 2.5 and as I'm edging close to this worried I should perhaps be doing something, GP has just said it's
