Ibrance - to start or not?
Hi everyone - I'm posting on behalf of my mom, Maria. She was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer in 2012, had a mastectomy and was put on tamoxifen (no chemo). We found out it came back in September of 2018. She currently has 2 tumors in her bone - t2 and l4 regions (only bone, no organs). She has

Updated labs & starting treatment
Hi all! I last posted in January, and you all were so helpful! I have Hashimoto's (positive for antibodies in 2016) and likely subclinical hypothyroidism, and I've been struggling to get a full-on diagnosis. I recently got a new round of labs done after feeling totally miserable the last few months.

13 year old with Hashimotos- should we try ndt? Anxiety, constipation, brain fog and trouble sleeping :(
Hi - my daughter is currently on Levothyroxine 50mcg daily- she suffers with anxiety, constipation, brain fog and difficulties falling to sleep. She also tends to have dips in energy during the day and flushed cheeks which we thought was related to adrenals. (We tested cortisol levels and although low

Prostap. Usual pain has gone but sharp ovarian pain?
Hey guys.. I've not posted for a spell. I'm currently awaiting an appointment with my gynea surgeon with a view to a total hysterectomy, which has - understandably- been postponed due to the current Pandemic. In the inter-rim, my gyneachologist advised to continue with a further 3 months of Prostap.

Chemo port leading to emergency. Can we remove it during severe anemia?
My mother in law is 60year old and was diagnosed with a stage1- 1inch malignant lump with h1+ in her right breast. We moved forward and had her right mastectomy done within 2weeks of detection. After one month we started chemo with docetaxel, carboplatin and trastuzumab as suggested by medical oncologist

Has anyone had their Breast Cancer metastasized to the breast skin (aka Skin Mets)?
Diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer in my right breast in 2015, estrogen and progesterone positive. I subsequently had a mastectomy followed by radiation with clean margins and with no evidence of disease. A couple years later, I had breast reconstruction and it was discovered that my breast

Haemochromatosis or just iron overload from stress and inflammation?
Hi everyone. I have a history of iron deficiency, requiring iron infusions over the last few years. I’ve been feeling a bit wiped out/exhausted and just not right. I got a blood test privately to check my iron panel and both my iron and thyroid were out of whack. Note there is a LOT going on in my life

Never give up hope !
Hello ladies. I am new and just got my results. I am soon to be 53 years old next month. I was told today I have Invasive Cancer stage II and Grade 3. It's right on the Nipple area so I chosen to go with Mastectomy of my left breast and get reconstructed later. Good news due to a cancellation my surgery

PART 2. NO to radiation treament
After being very stressed about her telling me someone would call and it would be about more than likely getting radiation FIVE DAYS a week from 3 to 6 weeks. I know from a friend that had stage 2 and had chemo, mastectomy, radiation and that the radiation for her was the worse part of it. She said

37yrs old- newly diagnosed with invasive lobular in the right breast. Debating double or single mastectomy. Advice?
Hi, I’m 37 and a mother of 2 boys, the youngest is 19months. I was diagnosed with multifocal invasive lobular carcinoma in my right breast 13 days ago and am a little shaken! So far my doctors don’t suspect any lymph node involvement and the tumor is ER+ PR+ and HER2- which is leading to an excellent

Could it be Thyroid issues? High MCV and MCH for 3 years, very low ferritin. All with no anemia. Normal B12, Folate and Iron levels.
Hi all, I'm new here. This my third year of consistently high and increasing MCV and MCH levels, coupled with extremely low and unresponsive ferritin levels.
More on blood results:
* MCV (April 2016/August 2017/March 2018/July2018/June 2019/July 2020/July2020 one week later) 95.1/95.7/96.2/101

TEST RESULTS
Hi - you’ve all been very helpful so far and I wonder if anyone can shed a bit more light on these results I had done with Thriva recently - next set due September. It was supposed to be a more in depth thyroid profile but I realise from this site it’s really quite basic! However the results all came
