Should I have a hysterectomy?
The short version is that I have adenomyosis, but it is well enough managed on zoladex/
Tibolone
that I'm not having any significant pain and not bleeding enough that it is a problem, but I do have lots of more minor issues and my consultant thinks a hysterectomy would be better.

Severe bleeding and high blood pressure on Tibolone
I was started on
Tibolone
5 weeks ago as an add back to Prostap SR while waiting for surgery 2 weeks ago I started bleeding heavily with massive clots. I called the consultant immediately but he was off.

Add back hrt with Zoladex
Previously prescribed
Tibolone
but massive headaches middle of the night so I tried to persevere without hrt and failed! The consultant (who’s booked me for a hysterectomy and endo excision) gave me Evoril Conti - 2 patches in and I’ve got stomach cramp, pelvic pain, headache.

Zoladex, Tibolone and low mood
Since starting Zoladex again (8 days ago) I have been taking
Tibolone
as prescribed to counter balance the menopausal side effect. I am unsure if it is the Zoladex or the
Tibolone
but I feel a shell of myself. Constantly crying or having anxiety about the smallest things.

Post Zoladex Injections
I've recently stopped my zoladex injections and
tibolone
after being on them for 2.5 years due to extreme bone pain that no one seems to know what the cause is! I was just wondering when did your periods return after stopping the zoladex after this length of time?

zoladex hasn’t worked?
Had my second one and started with my
tibolone
and again 7-10 days later pain and bleeding again!😔 Is this normal? Does mean it hasn’t worked? Is there anything else they can try other then the zoladex? X x

Finally got a diagnosis of Endometriosis today
I've been on such a journey with my pelvic pain. I'm 50 and I had a hysterectomy 4 months ago for fibroids. A laparoscopy ruled out Endo last year. I was pain free for the first time in months. I started hrt and my original pains 6 weeks ago came back with a vengeance just like they did last year when

At my wits end 😢
After getting out of hospital again I was put on a medication called
Tibolone
. Now I did my research and it said that you shouldn't give this medication to people who suffer migraines with aura so I explained to my consultant that I had these and he said it would be fine.

Tibilone experiences
Hi. I have very severe endometriosis and adenomyosis and am awaiting surgery which will likely involve having a stoma. I’ve previously had left ovary removed and both tubes and I’ve recently been told my right ovary is failing. Unfortunately there was been little improvement to my Endometriosis even

Update after hysterectomy for adenomyosis
So far I haven't had a big emotional upheaval, though this may still be on the cards as the zoladex wears off and my body adjusts to the change from
Tibolone
to oestrogen patches. I've had the same mixture of small patches of anxiety or tearfulness, but maybe I've been kinder to myself about them.

Adenomyosis, should I have hysterectomy?
I have had bad experiences with Mirena/Jaydess, and so I'm now on Zoladex plus
Tibolone
/Livia, that have almost entirely stopped the problems with bleeding. However, I'm having lots of side effects and appear to be wavering in and out of menopause over the 11 week cycle between implants.

Tibolone - your experience..
I’m looking for peoples experiences with
Tibolone
… I’ve been in the medical menopause for 4 years (I was 36 when I went into medical menopause) and have not taken any form of HRT because I feel great.

What Now?
So I had my laparoscopy last May, confirmed endo, coil fitted. Pain returned after a few months. In November I was put on Zoladex injections with Tibilone HRT tablets, this helped the pain a lot and reduced it to a few times within the 3 month period of being on it. Now the last 2 weeks the pain has

I have have two injections and I am on

Post Menopausal Fibroids
My HRT has been switched to
Tibolone
which I am told will not ‘feed’ the fibroids. I am waiting for an NHS gynae referral appointment which will not be anytime soon as there is a huge waiting list. Until then, I’m using painkillers to control the pain. Also doing daily mindfulness sessions.

Hysterectomy, HRT and possible flare up
I was given
tibolone
hrt at the time and sent on my way. All was well, until about a year ago the
tibolone
started giving me horrendous headaches and I had to stop taking it. My GP discussed things with my gyne and they said I was fine for estrogel. I've been using it for 2 months now.

anyone had prostap without Tibolone?
Then I hated the side effects and they made me more anxious so I stopped the
Tibolone
and just got some calcium vit d, menopause supplements and collagen supplements . Anyone else doing Prostap without the
Tibolone
?

Femseven conti patches
I've tried
tibolone
but couldn't sleep when taking them. I can't get hold of my endometriosis nurse so thought I'd see what anyone on here thinks. I'm really struggling with hrt side effects so thinking of going down the herbal route instead. Thanks for reading X
