I'm 1 week into prostap and tibolone as part of the reval study and I'm not coping well. I dont want to be another horror story on the internet so to keep it brief my main concern is constant nausea (but I cant function) and worsened allergies (and I have a history of anaphylaxis as it is).
I had prostap around 13 years ago without hrt and I bled everyday but also dont remember any of the obvious side effects other than feeling unwell all the time.
When you're already unwell a lot it's hard to tell what's what.
Has anyone else felt like death starting prostap/hrt and did it calm down?
My next dose will be a 3 month one and I dont know if I can continue putting my life on hold if I'm feeling this rough until January!

Really sorry you are having a grotty time. Get back in touch with the team monitoring your treatment so they can keep an eye on how it’s going, but Prostap does cause an initial “flare” during which time your Endometriosis symptoms can escalate before they settle. This can take several weeks, but hopefully you might find things settle after that.
But either way just keep your GP and specialist informed on how you are feeling, especially if you find your mood dipping. And make sure you keep a copy of the protocol guidelines and perhaps give them to your family so they also have information on your treatment too.
I posted myself almost a week ago. I am coming up to my 4th week and feel grotty. Anxiety through the roof, really foggy headed and low mood that I can’t seem to shake. The second week I had tingling in hands and feet and pain but that has calmed down. My sleep is horrendous and just trying to function is hard work. Luckily I am only having the 1 injection so hoping to start feeling like myself once my 4 weeks are up and this stuff stops working. I won’t ever be having this again but then other people have different experiences and it works really well for them.
