Graves after thyroidectomy
I am confused about all the things that say they help your thyroid, or your thyroid is low or your thyroid is high, after a
thyroidectomy
. If you have no thyroid then what is happening when you take naturethroid? Since there is no thyroid to stimulate. I have not achieved a balance in two years.

Graves disease 2 years after thyroidectomy lab tests results
Here are my latest lab test results Tsh 0.065 L range .470-4.680 T4 free 1.0. 0.8-2.2 T3 free 4.09. 2.77-5.27 This translates to hyperthyroidism, is that correct? It's very confusing as low as high and high is low. I have been instructed to take one less pill a week 48.75 naturethroid

I'd had total
thyroidectomy
in Mid March this year. They want another blood test in 1 month. Any thoughts and how long does your mood be affected? I have stopped eating gluten and only have some goat based dairy. Many thanks

I have Graves, Hyperthyroidism, and Hashimoto's.
There's anti-thyroid medication and some doctors will prescribe it; but the others would prefer
thyroidectomy
, surgery, taking out the thyroid, then you've went from making too much thyroid hormone To making none.

Starting NDT again or supplements
My question is, is it worth me trying NDT again to feel better and lose weight (I’ve now put on 3 stone since my total
thyroidectomy
2 years ago) or add supplements with my levo, or supplements and NDT?

Coronary artery spasm and thyroid
Long story short, in Sept 2017, she has a
thyroidectomy
. Immediately after the surgery, she had severe chest pain, which subsided a few hours later. After the
thyroidectomy
, she has a parathyroid problem. She has been taking Rolcatrol and Calcium supplements.

Is RAI the right decision for a 20 year old.
A
thyroidectomy
is also an option but he said there is more risk due to it being invasive. My daughter is scared of both options and doesn’t really understand why she needs this.

Hyperthyroidism and weight gain
I'm due surgery for a hemi
thyroidectomy
in a couple of months after 3 years of hyperthyroidism. During that time I have gained over 4 stone. Even while in full blown t3 toxicosis I was gaining weight. I also gain weight if over medicated and hypo. I can't win.

Avoiding Thyroidectomy
I have a 5x4x5 solid cyst in my right thyroid and a 2cm solid cyst next to it - this has grown over the course of a few months. I would like to try Percutaneous ethanol injections as a first line of treatment - can someone please advise where I can get the treatment done? Thanks

My daughters recent blood results
I had a
thyroidectomy
before I had my daughter, who is now 20. Dr Peatfield always told me to watch out for her, so I've paid to have a private blood test. Can somebody interpret the antibodies TOTAL THYROXINE(T4) - 114.

Raised T4
My wife had a
thyroidectomy
a number of years ago. She is disagreeing with her GP that her T4 is not raised (T4 is 14). She doesn't want to change meds because I know she is happy with her weight & energy levels. What would be the risks associated with raised T4?

TSH up and down like a yo yo this past 6 months and Its really wearing me down.
Total
Thyroidectomy
in 2007 over the next 10 years it grew back. Had it removed again in March of this year. After 1st surgery and until 2nd surgery I was on 75mcg of levothyroxine with little to no issues. Since March my TSH is up and down like a yo yo. 0.2 - 4.2 roughly the guide.

Thyroidectomy 2014
Hi All! I had a throidectomy in 2015 due to a large benign nodule. I started on levithyroxine but after time started getting joint pain, inflammation and stiffness specifically just in my knees. It became harder and harder to do daily activities including stairs. I decided to switch to Armour thyroid
