Raised T4

My wife had a thyroidectomy a number of years ago. She is disagreeing with her GP that her T4 is not raised (T4 is 14). She doesn't want to change meds because I know she is happy with her weight & energy levels. What would be the risks associated with raised T4?

Is that Free T3? What is the reference range for that result, that will tell you if it raised or not. If it's within the range, then it's not raised.

If it is over range then there's the possiblity that the T4 will make reverse T3 rather than Free T3.
