Partial thyroidectomy
Hi everyone I had a partial
thyroidectomy
last year in August. Every month since the surgery I have steadily felt worse! My endo placed me on a low dose of t4 which is only 50mcg and without telling him I added 5mcg of t3 to the dose as he won’t agree.

Fertility and no thyroid
My fertility doc suggested it might be my TSH, which is suppressed due to cancer (total
thyroidectomy
). She’s queried whether I could raise my TSH temporarily as optimum TSH for falling pregnant is between 1 and 2, which I have significant concerns about as I feel very well on a day to day basis.

Extending sick note
My sick note is due to run out after Thursday but I'm still experiencing symptoms post total
thyroidectomy
. The hospital have booked me in for an appointment next Monday to get me checked over so I'm not sure how I go about getting my sick note extended so it covers Friday onwards?

Newbie Hypothyroid
Hi, I had total
thyroidectomy
in 2017 due to multi-nodular goitre. Since then I’ve had lots of symptoms from flushing, anxiety, can’t tolerate heat, muscle pains etc. I was originally on 100 mg of Levo and I couldn’t tolerate Teva so I asked the GP to reduce to 75.

Constant heart flutters since total thyroidectomy, help!
Hi, I had a Total
Thyroidectomy
just over 4 weeks ago and it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride ever since. For the first 2 weeks I felt great however from then I've been suffering constant heart palpitations (it feels more like a murmur).

Post thyroidectomy
Hello, I had my completition
thyroidectomy
on Monday, but unfortunately had a hematoma after surgery so was taken back into theatre on Monday evening, bleeding stopped and an extra couple of clips placed on the arteries.

T4 / T3 AND TSH - WHAT A CRAZY RIDE!
I had a Total
Thyroidectomy
due to a large goitre back in 2014. Since then I've been on the very exhausting mission of trying to get my thyroid levels sorted and within optimum range.

MYSTERY UNRAVELLED
I was fine for years after my
thyroidectomy
until about 18 months ago when my TSH plummeted to a very low .006 and would move, regardless of medication dose changes.
