Wondering if he should be taking treatments to lower his
testosterone
? This was not mention yesterday at his post surgical follow up and catheter removal. He has a 3 month PSA check should we bring it up then as he heals from surgery or ask about it now?

Help interpreting results 😞
I have Cushing's disease which is in remission, I also suffer from low
testosterone
which I supplement and have diabetes insipidus. I had the left half of my pituitary gland removed about 5 years ago due to the cushings.

Muscle strength/pain
I do have low
testosterone
(I’m female just to be clear) so I suspect that’s not helping but, does anyone have any idea what’s happening? Even if I need to look down the avenue of another disease, I’d be grateful if people could give me any suggestions.

Using Testosterone to Treat Prostate Cancer
I found this report and I thought it will be a good idea to share it with all of my friends here: [[While it would have been unthinkable to give T to men with PCa not too many years ago, this is part of the cutting edge research currently in progress. An in vitro study showed that supraphysiological

Adding testosterone to your treatment/Any Neuroendocrine PC guys out there doing well?
A few weeks/months ago, I read a post regarding "adding/taking
testosterone
" to their PC treatment plan. One gentleman was listed in Miami and I believe working through the Sylvester Group.

What do you think of these supraphysiologic testosterone theories?
One road is: SPT (supraphysiologic

) AI (aromatase inhibitor - blunts
testosterone
to estrogen conversion) 5-ARI (5-alpha reductase inhibitor. Blunts
testosterone
to DHT conversion) Progesterone https://palpable-prostate.blogspot.com/2008/02/

Weightlifting with Depression/SAD or Meds & ruined sport?
It took me a few months, but eventually I found out that Citalopram functions as a muscle relaxant and
testosterone
inhibitor - both pretty shitty for weight training or max effort sports of any kind...I might have been quite stable with my depression, but the problems with my sport made me upset in

16 days post op orchiectomy...today I had bloodwork drawn.
Hoping it stays stable or even dips...from less
Testosterone
since my physical castration. Only time will tell what the next leg of the journey will look like. Cool thing...neither of us has ANYTHING in our schedule for tomorrow. A day of "carpe diem".

The difficult question most all of us will face (Part II)
My
testosterone
was 0.5. I don't know what that means in Canada, but it seems it is still low. Dr. has told me I do not qualify for any current trials here. Of course traveling during COVID is pretty much out of the question. (My beach is still waiting for me.)

Zytiga failure?
In early 2019 it started to rise although CT and bone scans were clear ( 2 bone mets had disappeared) and
testosterone
remained at 0.1. Bone scan 2/2020 showed 1 met had reappeared. Started Zytiga + Pred 10 mg on 13/04/2020.

This drug can reduce
testosterone
88% in 24 hrs.94% in 3 days...ànd some have reported their T will not recover for 2-3 months after an injection.
