Temgesic

I have been reducing the prami by about a quarter of a 0.125/.088 a week and been taking Temgesic since early October. The Temgesic can no longer control the RL so I'm wondering what I can do next. The last 4 - 6 weeks has been really difficult but now I've hit rock bottom.

So after reading previous posts about Temgesic I discussed it with my GP. She agreed to prescribe it and I have been great for past 12 days. I’m glad to be off the Dopamine agonist. Thanks for all the great posts on this forum. It’s a huge help. I’ll let you know how I get on ...

I just know when I ask for Temgesic he might say the same thing. Some lovely group members on another site do not have to report to a pharmacy. I have contacted three pharmacies and they all state that I will have to report to them on a daily basis..

And so if the doctor is going to prescribe an opiate, it may as well be Temgesic/buprenorphine which is considered to be more effective and safer than others. I think if you make a case to your doctor on this basis, you’ll stand a good chance of success if you want to try Temgesic. Good luck

Ask for Temgesic treatment and include the evidence I included in our letter to our consultant. It worked for Mrs P and I hope it works for you.

She said Temgesic is controlled in the UK, so she'll have to get the say-so from my neurologist, which might take time. He may want to see me or have a phone interview. Drat! I'm worried he'll again say I should go on the Neupro patch, even though I augmented catastrophically on Pramipexole.

I'm really struggling with Premipaxole withdrawal and I'm going to ask my doctor for Temgesic as it sounds so wonderful. So my question is, how many sufferers in UK actually receive this from NHS doctors and how effective is it?

Then I worked this out with a friend who’s a doctor and everyone who has asked there GP for temgesic is getting a pack of 50 with repeats . So I emailed Professor Nutt he said absolutely GPS in the UK can prescribe Temgesic but not Buprenorphine. Go figure !

I asked Dr B if he had any evidence or studies to support Mrs P's request to have Temgesic prescribed for refactory RLS in the UK. I'll try to add the pdf he talks about, later on.

Given that all other medication has failed, we believe that there is a very good case for prescribing Temgesic 200mcg to give Linda the relief she so badly needs.

Hi everyone, We have just finished a telephone appointment with Mrs P's Consultant/Doctor in the UK and we've been pretty blunt about requesting a prescription for 200 mcg Temgesic sublingual tablets.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t want the Temgesic or are opposed to it personally. Ask for it anyway to raise the profile of this foul disease.

One lady achieved great success on only 200 mcg Temgesic Another finding is buprenorphine with Naloxone Worsens OCD Dr Brooks says the same for RLS . They stopped the medication after 3 days of it working,symptoms were back within 3 days and on recommencing the buprenorphine symptoms subsided.

This week I received an Email from Professor David Nutt also from our Manerva ;] Buprenorphine in the form of TEMGESIC 200mcg is available from your GP also I suspect Norspan patches which is buprenorphine dosing starting at 5mg.

Last night I commenced Buprenorphine 200 micrograms (As hydrochloride) In Western Australia it is sold under the label Temgesic Sublingual Tablets. It is a controlled Drug here in Western Australia so possession without Authority is illegal.

Hi again just to add to my last post, has anybody been prescribed these these for pain and if so how did you get on with them?. GP just prescribed them and they are an opiate based painkiller, so very scared to take them, any feedback would be great. Thankyou for reading

one of these attacks or what ever they are something is going to burst or blow ,i take gtn spray daily for pain ,isosorbide mononitrate 40mg x2,lansoprazole 30mg x2,ramipril 5mg,ranolazine 375mgx2,ticagrelor60mg x2,amitriptyline 10mg,amlodipine 5mg ,aspirin 75mg ,atorvastatin 80mg, bisoprolol 10mg,temgesic

Cutting a long story short he told the doctor my story and he was prescribed temgesic which is .2 or 200 micrograms of Buprenorphine straight up . God bless him I hope more doctors start going straight to this drug .

I'm also on lirica, temgesic, catapress, panadine forte, tremadol, endep, physeptone The side effects I wouldn't want to wish on anyone, horrible. I've been married for 10 years and have 3 young children. Why do I have thoughts of killing myself when I have so much love and support around me.

meds i also take longterm are - temgesic(buprenorphine)for general pain relief), aroxia(for chosto), pregabalin(for neuralgia), prozac(for being fed up being sick!), modafinil (for energy).
