I have been on the neupro patch for a number of years with great results. However, I know it’s only time before augmentation kicks in. So after reading previous posts about Temgesic I discussed it with my GP. She agreed to prescribe it and I have been great for past 12 days. I’m glad to be off the Dopamine agonist. Thanks for all the great posts on this forum. It’s a huge help. I’ll let you know how I get on ...

That is fantastic news. The more people on here who are prescribed Temgesic with good results, the better for all of us.

Are you in England?

Happy Christmas

I agree with Joolsg. I am ok with my meds regime at the moment but as I use the Neupro patch I guess it’s only a matter of time before problems occur. Do you remember how many years you used the patch?

That is interesting. I have used the patch, starting with 1, then upped to 2. I can’t remember whether any thought was given to augmentation. I started over 4 years ago!

Thank you Poppip. Good news. May it last.

May I ask what dose you take and how often? I take 1 tablet of 0.2mg in te evening and 1/2 tablet (0.1mg) in the morning. Makes me feel almost as if I have no RLS. Only subtle restlessness now and then.

I've been on 200mcg Temgesic for nearly 5 weeks now and it means that I am able to sleep right through the night. Previously I was on dopamine agonists with augmentation and life was dreadful. It's wonderful being able to sleep now. BTW, I'm in Scotland.

Great to hear that news about temgesic is spreading and that people are able to access it!

Temgesic is also working reasonably well for me though I need 2 x 200mcg in the evening and sometimes an additional 1 x 200 mcg in the early hours of the morning. I am in Ireland also.
