Friend took my story to his doctor

Friend of mine went to the doctors today he has struggled with RSL but never taken any meds , just all the natural alternatives hot water bottles , magnesium etc .

Cutting a long story short he told the doctor my story and he was prescribed temgesic which is .2 or 200 micrograms of Buprenorphine straight up .

God bless him

I hope more doctors start going straight to this drug .

He also told him he could stop it at anytime with out withdrawal symptoms and use daily or as required.

1 to 2 tablets up to 8 tablets per day .

Half life 2 to 5 hours

I've been prescribed low-dose methadone to the same effect. For those for whom no other remedies have worked, I hope you can find a doctor who understands the value that low-dose opioids afford those suffering from this difficult condition. The unfair stigma that opioid treatment currently bears, is preventing many patients from gaining blessed relief from RLS. Shumbah, I'm so happy that you, and/or your friend, have been able to secure respite from your struggles.

We truly have to keep talking about it , I am thinking about taking it to current affair down the track .

The good thing is the more people who go on to opioids for RSL will hopefully expose this condition as a legitimate condition Successfully Treatable with the use opioids

Hopefully we will soon out number the people abusing opioids
