DHEA (& Cortisol)
Hello, I received these results today. I would appreciate it so much if someone could give me a steer on the DHEA aspect. I understand cortisol very well and clearly I have some form of adrenal insufficiency. I have 2 questions - 1. Do you think I need hydrocortisone from these results or can I

Help! Palpitations on 1.5 grains NDT
I wrote that I was worried about getting palpitations and lo! I have them. Is this a self fulfilling prophecy or anxiety? I'm very conscious of my heart and am having annoying ectopic beats - these are old foes and I had them for years; they went away when I was put on a maximum dose of ace inhibitors

Statin - Side Effects
Actually I am happy to say I do not have any so you might wonder why I am posting? I only check in here every few days as it is all very repetitive particularly on statins. Yes a minute percentage get side effects yet despite numerous posts on the subject often replied to by stalwarts of the forum people

Adrenaline from starting too low/ slow with cortex?
Hi, I started the nutrimeds adrenal cortex plus. I took ~1/4 capsule (so ~25mg cortex) in juice sipped on over 4h (waking, ~8am to 12pm). I am usually hypersensitive to supplements, which is why I wanted to start low and slow. My low back soreness has increased and I feel wired/ increased adrenaline

Lisinopril/ Ace Inhibitors and Ibrutinib
Several weeks ago, it was mentioned on HU, that some people were told to stop Ace Inhibitors while on Ibrutinib. I am wondering if anyone found out what this was all about?

Imbruvica ibrutinib & ACE inhibitors
I have just been told to stop my ramipril due to an interaction with ibrutinib having the risk of sudden cardiac death! I have been taking ibrutinib daily for 3/4 years with ramipril most of the time and obviously have not had this reaction so it may be very rare or not apply in my case. I have no other

CAN YOU TEST SALIVARY CORTISOL WHILE TAKING ADRENAL CORTEX EXTRACT
I have been taking Adrenal Cortex Extract(ACE)[Thorne 50mg] for approximately 2 months after having been prescribed them for low cortisol. I am currently on a dose of 3 capsules twice per day. I am due to have a review appointment with the doctor who prescribed this treatment and he wants me to do salivary

Does anyone recommend Losartan or Ace inhibitors?
I have issues with Amlodipine: anxiety, dizziness, insomnia. weight gain, exhaustion and have cut down to 2.5 mg with some improvement. Not sure if some of this is pandemic related anyway but have had amlodipine for over a year now and would like to try something else. My current readings are around

Trebuie anticoagulant
Hi! after a 24-hour holter, thousands of ventricular extrasystoles were detected. Because they are symptomatic (I have strong palpitations at night) I was prescribed beta-blockers and ACE inhibitors. Do I also need anticoagulants? I have a pacemaker, I had bradycardia, my heart is healthy, the mitral

I had an online consult with a thyroid doctor a couple of days ago. He advised me to take adrenal cortex extract and recommended I take either Thorne ACE or Seeking Health ACE. New here!
I was referred here from a fb group. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year, I also have low adrenals. I assume those work together? I am wondering which doctor to choose next or just go it alone? I have had insomnia for about 12 years now. It gets especially bad around my monthly menses. I

TACE (transarterial chemoembolization) for prostate cancer mets to liver or lung?
From my understanding,
TACE
provides the advantage of delivering higher doses of chemotherapy to a targeted region (liver/lung) and also interfering with tumor blood supply. Has anyone used this therapy for liver or lung mets?

Ace inhibitors versus arbs
I am new to the forum. I have taken blood pressure medication for a number of years: 25mg Atenolol; 2.5mg Ramipril and as these didn't control BP, bendroflumathiazide was added. With the medication BP was around 145/75. My GP stopped bendroflumothiazide last year. Ramipril was increased, but BP
