Hi everyone, this online place was suggested to me by a cardiac nurse today.

Hope everyone is as well as can be. I had a diagnosis of enlarged left ventricle in 2007. At the time aged 26. Asymptomatic. Ejection fraction 39%

Three episodes of af + tachycardia since. Heart self-corrected in hospital each time (luckily.) once had cardioversion. Now getting mild symptoms (lightheadedness, fatigue) and starting

Ace inhibitors

Beta blocker

Anti coagulant

So, processing the unknown future of it all. ☕️🫖

Overall ejection fraction 42%. Not sure if I’ve been ‘lucky’ this far. As getting some ballpark range is not easy due to all the variables etc.

Q Hopefully, these meds are effective..anyone else had stabilisation or even improvement in ejection fraction, with these 3 medications?

Different problem and no useful answers for you. But just want to say it must be difficult to come to terms with as you're so young. Whooshing courage and endurance your way !
